Mine are pierced, but what is strange is now that I took the rings out, I liked it more before, than I do now.... now they are way too sensitive....
 
I know plent of women think it's the same for men and it not. I'm not into having me nipples sucks or licked. It's doesn't freak me out but not much much difference then have my finger sucked and that's not doing for me either.
