Greens+?

I've seen greens+ mentioned on random threads in the past, and I was wondering who here takes it. I'm not big on veggies so I thought incorporating it into my diet might be a good idea since I definitely don't get the recommended number of servings of veggies. lol.

Any thoughts?

Those of you who take it, I'm guessing you mix it with water (instead of juice)?

I tried it after I saw Miss24k mention it. I really like it. I've seen it in powder form and pills. I got the powder and mix it with ice cold water. It tasted nasty at first but now I like it. Just feels like you are getting a blast of healthy greens and fiber.

Yes, that's where I saw it mentioned to! lol. I think I'll give it a try - I need those healthy greens. :) I'm going for the powder form as well.
 
I dont need it. I eat my greens and lots of them too. :chomp: Fill up on your greens and never go hungry.

Might lose a few friends though. :mommakin: If you get my meaning. Keep the charcoal tabs on hand.
 
You can use it as a supplement - I've used them as a first thing in the morning thingy, but I would never recommend using a supplement for anything more than a supplement to a complete diet, never as a substitute. Real food will ALWAYS be better than supplements. You might look around and try to find one or two veggies that you like. I never used to like broccoli. Now I love the stuff. (As fitbabe said, plan ahead -- I use digestive enzymes any time I eat a lot of broccoli.) I only use fresh spinach in my salads. Also for shits & grins every now & then I'll buy up a bunch of stuff along w/ some wheat grass and shove it all into my juicer for a good jolt of the green stuff. Just remember to put in something that has some flavor like carrots or apples, because most veggie juice is great for you but it tastes like sludge.
 
Yes ladies, it was from me that you heard about greens+ ;) lol

Just so you know I used them (as Sassy said) as a supplement, I didn't replace my veggies with them, I would mix up a scoop in some water 1st thing in the morning because I was getting tired quite often because I was depleting my vitamins & minerals. So along with the greens + I was eating veggies like 4 or 5 times a day.
 
I use something similar that I buy at the grocery store. It is a liquid multi-vitamin that also has greens (and EFA's) in it. So I pour a little capful in my morning protein shake. I use it as a supplement, just incase.... I like to know that I am covering all my bases in my diet. And ever since I started using it, I can tell my energy is better and my "choo choo" is definitely working as it should (better)! :lmao:
