tendon/joint pain?
I'll try to keep it short but feel free to ask questions if you need more info to respond.
heres my history
- been bodybuilding since i was 14
- got serious at 19 started conservative cycles
- competed at 23 and took the overall for my state
- quit competing and off the sauce but still bodybuilding for health for 14 years
- last 5 of those 14 yrs i was on massive amounts of different pain medications for an auto accident/back injury. Lifting, diet,motivation, testosterone levels, slowly deteriorated to nothing, lifting 1 maybe 2 days a week in the end. When my doctor wanted me to start testosterone to make up for the opiates killing my testosterone levels I dropped the opiates(which always stopped working after a couple months and ended up using Naproxen in addition) - 6 months ago gave the opiates the bird, started eating clean, using Naproxen/PT to manage back pain 70ish%, lifting on my old 6 day split, started a cycle to try and help w/back pain.
- the deca worked, 12 weeks at 400mg my back pain is almost completely gone(or maybe it was the better diet and exercise) I started to get pain seems like my tendons in my pecs, biceps, and shoulders, all where tendon attaches at joints.
- no more naproxen, continue pt for my back on my own, back pain almost completely gone
- took 6 weeks off with pct, tendon joint pain continue
- new cycle adjusting for the deca killing my libido, but tendon/joint pain continues.
- the tendon/joint pain seems to go away with lots of warming up but makes me nervous I may be doing some kind of damage.
cycle 1 (12 week)
cyp 400 week
deca 400 week
start weight 213 - 23% body fat
end weight 220 - 19% bodyfat
cycle 2 (12 week)
cyp 600 week
deca 200 week
dBol 5mg 3 times day
aromasin 12.5 eod
start weight 214 - 21% bodyfat
week 7 weight - 221 15% bodyfat
I'm 40
feel great other than the joint pain
I lift hard and I am muscle soar from every workout the next day
surprisingly I maintained about 75% of my strength over the years, was back to 100% my 1st cycle
cycle 2 strength is back to 100% + + but limiting myself to try and avoid the joint pain, doing more reps and sets instead of heavier weight
eating about 4,200 calories day, 60%protein / 20%fat / 20%carbs
steak, eggs,chicken, rice, vegetables, fruit,
daily fish oil , vite e, multi vit, vit c,
sleep 8 hrs? toss and turn all night, in my life never been any different, not the quality sleep i need for sure
any suggestions or info would be appreciated.
