any updates for us?
Yeh I been posting updates on this thread. The last few days, on "basically" a trt Cruise right now. Waiting on lab results. Came off a heavy cycle 9 weeks before labs interested to see the results.

New Dr. Just upped me to 200mgs test cyp for trt a month ago. He's going to want new labs in probably 3 months, so I'm being conservative RN. He's pretty cool though.
 
Today I was sore and did just biceps in the morning. 3 progressive weight warmups on bb curls then I pyramid the weight up for five sets till I got to singles . So first working set of 12 kept increasing weight til I hit a single.

Next was alternate dumbbell curls for five sets. High reps.

Then stretch concentration curls-two drop sets one double drop and one triple drop.

Then 3 sets of reverse barbell curls.

This afternoon I did some explosive medicine ball work. My ball is a a 30# ball. Did not push it just hitting them really fast twitch explosive fibers.

When I want to push medicine ball work, I do medicine ball burpee throws with my 33 year old son.

NOTE* When I do medicine ball throws I simulate punches and switch hands every rep, from a Fighting stance so it's a jab then it's a cross... Really great exercise for fighters.

One of my local gym members is doing this for an upcoming white collar fight.
 
make sure you keep an eye on your numbers
don't just depend on the doctor to decide where your number should be

mixing them together gives you the best of all three worlds

you've got to make the call on correct trt dose not the doctor he should be listening to you as well but advising you
 
that's good that's your implementing the medicine ball tactic
there's a lot of different ways to get in your training

Son came over and wanted to work out arms, so I did triceps with him after he did biceps..I did biceps yesterday so.

I did triceps dips for 5 sets(remember I'm 270#)
Then over head extensions increasing weight until I hit doubles. First set was 12 reps second was 6 third was a double.

Then I did 3 compound sets of overhead extensions and kickbacks.

Like chest my triceps are a
strong point so I don't push them too hard anymore.
 
I built my size differently for sure. It was a combination of bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifts and some strongman stuff. I've been big for so long I hold it and regain it so easy now. I'm 50 years old, 270# and can do not only wide grip chins but also kick over my head cold no prep or warmup, still do a full split. I trained for function all my life. Granted I hurt from injuries but still workout daily, actually working out keeps the pain away, usually only take off when my body says take time off.
Love some of this unique training compared to what we see most time by just regular bodybuilding guys.

Alt dumbbell deadlifts 2 sets of 2

Alternate knee raises done on my fighting stance knees to shoulders paying attention to defensive placement in a mirror. 3 sets-40,30,30

Side leg raises to shoulders without setting the foot down. One set of ten per side. (Done slow enough to not use momentum)

Front straight leg raises done to eyes. One set of ten per side. (Against slow)

Last three exercises I do for kicks and balance as much as core.
 
Question guys anything I can take to aid in recovery that won't interfere with my trt bloodwork? Reminder I'm on 200 a week trt
for sure, I know its an answer youve heard but FOOD is #1 and natty test boosters #2 like hcgenerate
i would add more protein and add hcgenerate

This afternoon I did a short conditioning workout.

300 straight punches with 3# dumbbells paying very close attention to hand placement, hip movement and explosion using a mirror.

150 uppercuts with 3# dumbbells again in the mirror making sure technique is perfect.

I only count that when I'm leaning out. My workouts aren't for looks at all. But I eat really clean with really high protein, very low processed carbs. Meat, nuts and oatmeal. This I do for recovery which, right now I'm not having a problem with recovery, maybe because I don't push my second workout of the day typically. When I start leaning out I'll post macros.

I'm 270# bro I'm definitely not undereating. Did you see my morning protein intake by itself? I posted a few days ago.

Good well rounded workout brother,legs and core are a good combo and with the balance and mobility you throw in as well makes it a winner👍

Today is gonna be chest in a little while when this pre workout really kicks in, gonna take a break then do some pretty serious conditioning work with my son.

Focused on
Burpee - medicine ball throws then not sure what else I throw in, it will depend on what's sore...

I do alot focused on explosion and maintaining explosion over time. Which is something the body doesn't like to do.

Then tomorrow is supposed to be back. I usually put legs between chest and back but as I said I lost track of the days.
 
So worth noting I have severe spinal issues other than the torn meniscus. I have pinched nerves in the neck and back, severe scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, and the natural curvature of my spine has straightened over the years. Much of this from heavy lifting and some from MMA. So I'm very careful about form and pay attention to body signals. Only noting this because there's no excuse to not workout and the workouts keep my moving despite the injuries.

and 270 is a good weight to drop from too, but you can eat clean and shred up too btw high volume food @JCE

Two tri-sets of pushups
Feet up
Normal
Hands up
Was gonna do three tei sets but felt a twinge, remember I'm 270#

Dumbbell pullovers 2 sets, haven't done them in years...

So this morning was back, like last week's only I cut down from five sets each on wide grip pullups and Underhanded chin ups to three each and added in what I call pulsing negatives for three sets as my third exercise. I do them on the wide grip and as I slowly lower myself in a negative I do short pulses pulling up or attempting. You can almost feel the fibers ripping and priming for growth.

I have found nothing builds back like wide grip chins man. I'm planning on dropping some weight next cycle. Don't wanna cut calories while only on 200 mgs a week test cyp.

I'm fine with the weight actually as I'm still totally functional, and we tend to forget mass x acceleration=power, but there's been a slight increase in blood pressure, I'm usually 120/60 ish. But my numbers have been fluctuating and my wife gets, excited when I am lean and muscular LoL so...

A little later did some kicks and punches for technical work while teaching my seven year old girl the basics. My whole family works out with me.

Heck my 8 month old grabbed my bar and dropped into a perfect deadlift technique wife and I laughed wishing we would've videod it.

I'm itching for my next cycle pretty bad... I gaines alot of mass ready to cut..I do it old school heavy bulk then cut. Almost hit 300 before a cut before. I was on way too much gear back then.

Trt blood work doc just upped my dose wants to check blood a couple of times monitoring the increase.

Looking at and loving the mass gain after my injury lay off RN and gonna plan the cut appropriately. Probably test, Tren, mast, primo, and Deca. Nothing in heavy doses as I find multiple compounds work better together than heavy doses of a couple.

Maybe cut out the Tren but probably not LoL love it and seldom have sides.

The cut I dropped to 3000 calories a day and would run 6 miles in an hour, with sprints,, HIIT style several days a week, go to work then lift after work.

Equal amount of days was several hours a day doing MMA and conditioning. I was teaching a small class of MMA at a boxing gym. Great times really.

I did the cut to get an amateur MMA fight, cut way too hard relying on gear to keep my strength up and suffered a a serious neck injury during some lifts and really finished it the next day at BJJ practice. I had gotten down to 215, trying to make the light heavyweight at under 205#'s. This is when the injuries started catching up. Gear makes you feel invincible, until it can't anymore.

I was using test,primo,NPP at one stage during the cut and the primo seemed to work well bro I cut down to 103kg,iv just been running 800test,200 tren ace and 4iu hgh at night the past 8 or so weeks on this bulk and i weighed in this morning at 112.5kg...I probably wouldn't run primo on a bulk myself I'd have to run a fairly high dose which would cost alot,now iv actually tried tren my views on compound effectiveness has changed a little bit....after tren I might give EQ a go and see what happenes.
What do you think about running EQ rather than deca for a bulk?

So today is just gonna be Martial Arts, no hard conditioning body need nothing strenuous just gonna keep blood flow going and focus on technique work.

Wife and I been killing it probably 9-10 days in a row.

I agree bro a 6-8 week cut while your on low dose gear,up the martial arts training/cardio then slowly titrate the dosage,food and weight up to blast mode...I took and extended cut for the first time ever this year,almost 4 months and it's worked wonders for my body and mind💪
 
I absolutely love equipoise, but remember I do a lot of endurance work. And it seems to work wonders for it. I've ran 1000 mgs of eq before. Plus test and Deca.

What do you think about running EQ rather than deca for a bulk
 
I absolutely love equipoise, but remember I do a lot of endurance work. And it seems to work wonders for it. I've ran 1000 mgs of eq before. Plus test and Deca.
Yeah awesome I'll give it a try once I cut the tren ace out I think👍
 
I agree bro a 6-8 week cut while your on low dose gear,up the martial arts training/cardio then slowly titrate the dosage,food and weight up to blast mode...I took and extended cut for the first time ever this year,almost 4 months and it's worked wonders for my body and mind💪
I had lost so much size dealing with that injury trying to maintain it a little longer OR wait til I jump on a good cycle so I don't lose it.
