fury ordering help from those who have used.

I've done some research. Sounds like lots of people say the arms are way too tight. What do you think of ordering my FURY with these numbers as opposed to my actual stats posted below. Keep in mind I plan to compete in the 181's not too long from now... I plan to be 170 by the end of winter break (Jan 21)

ACTUAL STATS
Height: 5 foot 7
Weight: 160
Chest relaxed: 39 inches
Arms flexed cold: 14.25
Max Raw Bench: 315

ORDERING STATS
Height: 5 foot 7
Weight: 170
Chest: 40
Arms: 15
Touch weight: 350
Fit: competition

What do you guys think? My reasoning of ordering it oversized is that this is my first shirt -- and I want it to be loose and easy to experiment with at first... then grow into it over the next month to make it tighter. What do you think of overstating my weight like that, and going a size up on the chest rather than a size down?

What would you vets say I should do? I want to order soon since Titan is coming out with their new NXG+ shirt on Jan 1, and after that it'll probably take 2 months to get an order mailed they'll be so backed up.

Thanks for your help.

My fury would barely go over my forearms. It took the better part of 20 minutes to get my arms in it the first time. I'm SO glad I didn't send it back though. Ironmaiden suggested stretching the sleeve openings with 5 pound plates, and it worked perfectly. I could've sent it back and gone larger, but I'm afraid it would be too big now, rather than just right. You didn't add TOO much to your numbers though.

I like my fury, only complaint would be not being able to take it off between attempts.

whats this new shirt supposed to be like? did a boss shirt ever come out? anything else thats new?

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

Spatts- Yeah I read all about your shirt experience -- it was more like a 3 week saga... read how you finally got 243 to touch in it. How is that coming along now? yeah your shirt is the main reason I think I'm gonna put an extra inch on my arms.

jeremys -- the latest on the titan forum is that a BOSS shirt is never going to be publicly released even though there are some prototypes they're working on. However the NXG+ is coming out Jan 1 -- I think it is very similar to the fury but a higher percent of the material is going to be this "NXG" so they do predict it's going to be even harder to touch with it.

Also -- do people normally put a higher touch weight than their raw bench max?

DOM, I think part of my problem was that they asked for cold measurements, and COLD my bicep and forearm measurements aren't far apart.

I opened with 243 at the comp, because that's the min I can get down in it. I have to say, it really keeps my shoulders tight. There's a seam that runs down the back of the arms, though, and if it's even the slightest bit off, it will knock me out of the groove really fast.

I suppose that's all a matter of getting to know your shirt.

Where's your sticking point on bench?

I always stick at the bottom... about 2 inches off the chest. Strangely enough... my raw max 315 equals my 2 board and 3 board maxes, 315 -- so I think even though I say my sticking point is the bottom... it's really that the whole bottom 6-8 inches of my bench are weaker than my lockout (have locked out 495 with 3 inch ROM). So I'm kind of excited about the shirt... thinking it could easily put around 50 lbs on my bench.

Screwd up my left shoulder bigtime in high school football. It bothered my bench all through high shcool and up until last year. It has been fine for about a year now... but I can tell it's still pretty delicate -- little stuff will tweak it, like getting my arm jerked while playing tag football.

how would shoulder problems play into the sizing of the shirt? you think I should go bigger if I have problems in order to keep the squeeze down? My shoulder only bothers me when it's being pulled on -- like pulled out of socket. I would think compression would help if anything.

No, you mention on your training log thread that you do wide benches still....that's one way to get them jackedup and keep them that way. The fury doesn't need to change for that though.
