ALl I did was recap what everyone else said........you don't have any insight in the matter, you just want to ridicule me.....is that it? There was no point in making this thread 200 pages long for no true answers. I expressed my view = moderation. Mr-X says fruit is the devil and so is dairy..........almost everyone else said its ok.............you chose wise ass.

1) i have been reading these boards for a while now and it seems every time u express an opinion that in ur opinion is factual, U PUT IT IN CAPS!!!!

2) so..... basically ur recap was everything everyone said but NOT (like the caps?!?!?!) what Mr. X said.

How foking hard is it to understand???

For everyone not training to be in a bb show, fruit is not too good, but not too bad. if it helps ur mood, helps ur energy level, helps u diet longer, GO FOR IT. HOWEVER, IF U DO NOT NEED THE HELP IN THE ABOVE AREAS, U CAN SPEND UR CALORIES ON DIFFERENT MACROMOLECULES !!!!!!!

Also, u make it seem that just because 1 person said NO, while everyone else said YES, the answer is automatically YES. Wtf.... no one posted any studies EXCEPT for the one person who said NO... ur studies on blueberries are complete bullcrap. Do u have any idea how complex the body is?!??!?! We still cannot figure out what causes hunger, yet, u are telling me we know exactly what the fuck a single blueberry does?!?! gimme a break....

honestly, i think Lyle is as asshole as well although i have been following UD2.0 for about 7 weeks now and am surprised there is controversy regarding the true author of the book..

i think X may have meant something besides physique as in arrogance, demeanor, knowledge etc...
 
sitting hear at my comp waiting to leave for my engineering class, i had some thoughts i wanted to share.

Lets make 3 assumptions

1)Ur liver is saturated with fructose at about 50g

2) Fructose refills liver glycogen

3)Excess glycogen yields adipose

Pretty self explanatory, if u dont agree with this, ur an idiot (although 1 will vary with each person)

Most ppl are on a typical bb diet over here, and consume healthy carbs, protein and fat.

Now, lets assume ur avg person eats his/her carbs thruout the day. there muscles are all filled to the brim, so the excess carbs go to the liver as glycogen. this is not a bad thing, although u really only want minimal storage for bb purposes. Now, lets introduce fruit into the diet. fructose goes straight to the liver without even looking at muscle storage. therefore, u basically are only giving ur body a chance to store it as glycogen, or worst case, fat. Now, why give ur body this chance?!?!?! why not eat clean carbs that have potentially a chance to refill muscle first and then go to the liver. why consume fructose and eliminate the first option???

No, X meant Lyle is not a jacked bodybuilder and therefore does not know anything about bodybuilding nutrition. This is a common misconception. I fully admit that I'd prefer to listen to a guy who "looks the part", but rationally I know it's wrong. Lots of people just kind of "stumble their way" into good physiques. I mean seriously, look at a lot of crap you see on this board, yet half the guys giving the advice look pretty damn good. Genetics, drugs, and the simple fact that diet isn't as complicated as some make it out to be are all contributing factors.

And yes, Lyle is an asshole...but a knowledgable asshole.

if what X says is true, then Lyle is simply an asshole. the fact is, X is much more helpful and courteous than Lyle can ever dream of being and i respect him 100000x more and am therefore inclined to beleive Lyle stole the ideas for his popular diet book
