Front Squat Issues

I easily drop ass to ankles with front squats. I can't quite get as low with back squats. The bar path and body angle allow you to sit way deeper than with a back squat. At least for me. Best pure "quad" exercise you can do imo.
 
clean grip is the ONLY way to go, once it starts to get heavy the cross armed grip wont stop the bar from coming forward were high elbows in a clean grip will

Front squatting is the only way I go now as well. I never could get the groove quite right with the back squats, but with the front squats it forces me to maintain perfect position. I pin my hanstrings against my calves on every rep...
 
Until you get the flexibility...
Use your straps, the ones you would use for heavy rowing and deads and such.
Wrap the straps around the bar the same way you would wrap it around your wrists. Then grab the end that would normally wrap around the bar, essentially creating an extension of your grip.
