Filling in between shoulder blades

Howdy,

I have a genetically large frame. My shoulders, and collarbone are extremely wide and deep. I have always had large and muscular lats, traps and shoulders. I feel that my posture is very good due to the fact that I have been training my whole body for many years. The problem I have thougy is that my should blades have always been noticeable through my clothes and I have never been effectively able to put a lot of mass in my middle back to eliminate the gap between my shoulder blades.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Do you utilize heavy bent over rows in your routine? I would think about it in various grip positions to really get a good range of growth across your back.

Yeah, bent over rows instictively came to mind.

ALSO, face down shrugs will hit the T3 & T4 (the lower portions of the traps).

Rows, and explosive work for the upper back like jump shrugs and the olympic lifts and their various hybrids if you know how to do them are great. Other than that, it just may be a question of putting on more size/weight to fill that big frame out.

Thanks for everyones responses. I didn't start doing bent over rows until recently so I will keep at it. Thanks again!
