Take 2 Motrin twice a day with a glass of milk or some food. This will ease the possible inflamation. If it still doesn't go away take at least 2-3 days of of everything. Another little tidbit would be to avoid sleeping on that arm. Make sure when you go to bed that it has a pillow underneath it or is slightly elevated.

Remedies...

Ice, ice, ice after workout

Anti-inflammatories (Aspirin, etc...)

MSM, Glucosamine, Chondroiton, Flax Seed Oil, Fish Oil

check in www.t-mag.com, I believe they told a "cure" for the elbow a while ago, something like do only the negative part of the tricep pushdown (with the help of the spotter I assume).
I apologize for not being able to remember more precise info. Hope that helps anyway. Good luck!

Definately sounds like tendonitits...rest, massage, anti-inflammatories. It'll only get better unfortunately by not doing
those type movements. I've had it bad a couple of times in my
life. If it's really bad, your Doc may be able to do a local cortisone
injection in your elbow, to really cool it off in there. It sounds like
it's bothering you alot, if it were me, I'd line up a cortisone
injection for it, and give it about 10 days off from any direct training. You'll be better than ever after that.

In addition to what was said above, elbow sleeves can help keep the elbow area warm and support the muscle area.

yep sounds like tendinitous to me, but you might want to take a trip to the doc anyways and get some anti-inflamatories, they really help. The cod liver should help also. You might think this is stupid but get an elbow brace and wear it during your workouts. There are some good ones out there that allow total full movement.:D it helps the pain a lot.

Is it possible to get tendonitis in the wrist? Just having some nasty pain in one of my wrists. Started about six months ago, just keeps getting worst. Time to make a doc. appointment.
