Do you powerlifters find pretty boy bodybuilders annoying?

Ok, I know I'm going to get flamed for this.....

There's something to be said for being as strong as possible. But there's also something to be said for HEALTH. I mean, what will it matter if you bench 800 pounds but you've got cholesterol problems from eating hamburgers?

This wasn't meant to come about offensively, just my opinion.

When i go through times were i am burnt on food (like now) i eat hardly shit. When i got sick a couple weeks ago or whne ever it was l lost 10lbs. But seen the day after i was better that it would come back fast. I have been trying my ass off to keep 7lbs off. Mainly for bench shirt reasons. But yesterday i had a turky bacon sandwhaich for breakfast, then i had a bowl of clam chowder, then after my workout i had meatloaf and potataoes. All day might have been 2000 calories. I have been eating like this for a week now. And am hovering around 245.

And i tell ya i am so ready to shred down to a rock solid 220lbs and be leaner and strong. Then after i get to 220 i would (will) stay there for a while then bulk upo to 260 for the rest of the time. When to do this i dont know. I am thinking of doing this in the summer.

Cubanito dont worry about it all right now, eat when you can and whatever you want, dont watch the scale. Just lift. Your young so it is hard to gain weight. You want to gain weight fast get on some test and deca. I mean hell thats what is done in the competition world. Lets not be shy here. Jm Blakely writes on how to gain and lose weight but does not mention on his bulk cycle there is a shit load of test. Cubanito it takes time to put on quality muscle there is only one way around it. If you dont go that way then just be patient. And just take your vitamins and say your prayers (quote an early hulk hogan) brother!

Cubanito, it is very hard to eat a lot. I go through spells where I am so sick of eating, that I could go all day and hardly eat a thing. That is part of it.

Jay, as usual is right. The only way to short circuit is to take test and deca, or anadrol or some other sort of thing that you are frankly too young to be considering.

I graduated from high school at the same height I am now, and 155 lbs, dripping wet. I managed to put on a freshman 10 rather than 15, and by age 19 I was a whopping 165. Then the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of college, I decided that by God, I was going to put on some weight. Prepare yourself, the following is not for the faint of heart.

I ate a dozen egg omelette every single morning for breakfast. That was one dozen egg whites, 6 egg yolks, tons of cheese, and a ton of ham, and two to four pieces of toast. Then I went to work. At ten a.m. I would eat two chicken salad or turkey salad sandwiches. At noon, I would go and train for an hour. Immediately upon comming back from training, I drank a MetRX shake with 6 more egg whites in it (don't do this, very dangerous to eat them raw), after work I would eat a big dinner usually consisting of steak and potatoes, or pork chops and potatoes, and before I went to bed I drank another MetRX shake with 6 more egg whites, and peanut butter mixed in it.

I kept this up for an entire summer. Absolutely drug free. I went from 165 to 185, all the while weight training 5 days per week, and training for full contact karate 3 days per week.

IT SUCKED!!! After about a week, I was so bloated and sick I could hardly stand it. I was constantly in the bathroom. It seemed like all I did was put it in, and let it out, and occasionally train. Eating like I described above is very very tough to do. I do not like it. I did not like it then. But to me it was worth it. I had to sacrifice, plan ahead, and endure some substantial hardship, but when I came back to school that fall, people could not beleive the transformation. And this was done clean. With a half a gram of test per week, and 400 mill of Deca, I probably would have gained 40 lbs. But I was too young for that at the time, and the way I did it, the weight stayed on, and stayed where it needed to be. I have never been below 185 since then, except for one time when I pulled to 180 as a sophomore for a toughman contest.

It can be done, but it aint easy.
 
Arioch I try to do that with lookin at food as a fuel source but it seems like i'm either "CARBO MAN" b/c all I want to eat is carbs and I don't get enough protein or who knows what... about the name it's cool i know i'm two things and it's all good.
ZZuluZ The reason for all this bad cholesterol is that bad cholesterol increase test levels, yea maybe it's not good, but oh well i guess i'll live and if i don't at least i had a good time eating ;) .
PLJay I know bro i'm just trying to eat as much as I can but when I put that i eat around 2,200-2,500 cals a day and I can't eat anymore then guys say i eat that before noon or whatever I just can't eat all that much and i'm way too picky I won't eat eggs,tuna,omlets,veggies,baked chicken(got tired of it),chinese food,the list goes on.
BRAIN I know I guess I'm there where it's hard for me to eat before I dropped down to 160 and now i'm gaining weight back like when i was 185 i could eat all day and it was all good, but I wasn't doing anything every once in a while to see if i stil had it i'd go box, but that was it.

Well, you shouldn't complain that you can't gain weight. I don't like those foods either...but I eat them when I want to gain weight.

b fold i understand what your trying to say that if I want to gain good weight I have to eat alot of good food, but if I don't like the food and I can't stand the taste of it so what's the point of eating it i mean I know it's good for me and shit, but if I can't stand it and I have to force myself to eat then i'm going to reach the point where I won't want to eat anything.

Hmmmmm...guess I have already given my advice, as everyone else has too...just eat it. Hey...if you cover your food in mustard, hot sauce, and soy sauce...it doesn't even taste like tuna or eggs anymore:):)

Bfold thanks I understand what ur sayin and thanks for tryin to help I hate mustard, soy sauce, and i only like hot sauce on wings and fries sometimes.
Jay I hate ranch and i'm getting tired of eating pizza, and grilled cheese nasty. :alien:
