DNP while on a keto diet....

I was thinking that since DNP depletes ATP, it would be great for a keto diet. The dieter would be able to get into ketosis quicker.... like insulin.

I have heard some people here talking about how importants are carbs while on DNP, but never heard the reason.

What do you guys think??

A keto diet is unnecessary on a DNP cycle,as DNP puts one in a state of ketosis all on it's own.Keeping carbs moderate to high feeds the mechanisms which induce thermogenesis/fat being broken down faster...

In all honesty bro,I don't count calories.I mainly switch around macronutrients when on and off DNP.On DNP=High carbs, moderate protein, and very low fat, with maybe a slight emphasis in eating smaller portions, but not to any great degree.Off DNP=High protein, moderate fat intake, and very low carb intake(as I just do not metabolize carbs worth a damn,I get fat as hell on moderate carbs).I know, not very proffesional, but I'm lazy in that department,lol....

yea, i usually do the same, i was wondering if restricting calories made any difference on dnp, as most people seem to lose the same weight regardless what they eat and how much of it, the genera average is ~1 lb/ day....makes me question what the hell is going on....how can mr McD lose a 6-7 lbs in a week while the straigh dieter can lose 7-8....just doesnt make much sense

Yes,it certainly will.Like I said above, even though I'm not strictly counting each calorie,I am trying to eat smaller portions with their respected macronutrients switched around.DNP regulates metabolism.Even if you raise that metabolism by 30-40%,if you exceed the daily amount of overall calories burned, you will not lose weight, just the same as with any diet...This will always be a universal rule, not only alteration of nutrient breakdowns, but not exceeding one's own basal metabolic rate of total calories consumed daily, whether they are normalized or in a hightened state of consumption.

Huck, lets say that I don´t go into ketosis in one week of DNP. Shuld I reduce carbs?

I seriously doubt that will happen(unless you're running an extremely weak amount)but if so then yes,you could do that until you enter ketosis. But once there, move the carbs up,as their addition will not effect ketosis at that point,DNP will gobble them up as fast as you can consume them,lol....
