I was tested about an hr ago with digital fat calipers. He did 2 tests, the first was 3.3% and second was higher, it averaged out to be 2.8%. Is this possible? My lower abs still suck though. Strange. I figure those things are not 100% accurate. What do you guy's think? Bam
Sounds like the caliper is off unless you are ripped to the bone right now. The same thing happened at my gym and they had to go out and buy a new caliper.
I bought some of those for our gym..........biggest waste of money. They are too touchy. I just use www.mybodycomp.com it gets you close and the measurements are consistent.
I am very ripped, I thought around 5%. But I have shitty genetics is the lower abs I guess. I have no fat on the arms or legs, and just a very small layer of what appears to be more skin and water than fat in the lower ab section.

Post a pic and I'll tell you in a matter of seconds..........If I was a bettn man (which I am) I would say no. I know when I get below 5%, I get these uncontrollable twitches.............pretty unhealthy........ABS have nothing to do with it, as they are most likely not worked heavy enough.........those digital calipers can be scewed very easily. Somewhere between 3 and 9%.......
You have to pay close attention on how you are measureing your self. Read the directions under the part where its telling you wear to measure if you dont do it right it will be thrown way off. Watch and read how to measure the knee and the 3 belly measurements as these if not done right will really f up your reading.
2.8% is deathly----I thought bodybuilders are at around 4-5% at their shows---and even then you can't stay like that for very long or you can do serious damage to your body?
