Hi all you experts that know the ins and outs of the human body. I'm trying to calculate my daily protein requirment and I've tightened the range between 145gm to 170gm. Now I've heard that an excessive amount of protein cannot be digested and will convert into glucose for energy. This has scared me off because I'm trying to cut body fat and preserve as much lean muscle as possible.
Basically I wanna know how far over your daily proetin intake can you go before you will start to store fat from not using up the converted energy stores?
I wanna get as close to my recommended daily intake without going to far over or cutting myself short.
