cycle recommendations for 42yr old

Hey guys,

I'm a 42 year old guy who has lifted since I was 15. Besides a short 8 week cycle of text/eq (fake?) when I was 23, I've lifted natural and experienced reasonably good gains. As I hit my 40s that has kind of gone away. I'd like your recommendations for a cycle.

Right now I train 5 times a week in this style:
Mon: Upper Body Heavy (few sets reps 3-10)
Tue: Lower Body Heavy (few sets, reps 3-10)
Wed: Back&Sho bodybuilder routine (many sets, 8-12 reps mostly, some 12-20rep sets)
Thu: Legs bodybuilder style
Fri: Chest&Arms bodybuilder style

BodyComp: 6'; 205lbs; about 12-15% bf

Looking to make some lean gains and stay at this bf % or even lose a few %.

Health considerations:
1) I take low dose of blood pressure medicine daily and my bp still runs a little high.
2) I take 1mg of finasteride per day for hair loss. I'm pretty sure its the thing that has kept me from going bald like my older brother who didn't medicate. I really would like to keep my hair.
3) Whatever I use should be easy on the liver. I get my blood tested often and during stressful periods of my life I've seen tests come back where concerning enzymes were elevated. Usually by the next month everything returns to normal.
4) I've been doing intermittent fasting for years now. I usually only eat 1-2 meals in a 4 hour window at the end of the day. Not sure if this would greatly hinder gains while on cycle and if so what alternative meal frequency suggestions you might have.

I appreciate any and all suggestions!
Thanks

There seems to be apt of restrictions in your needs. You are going to need to be very careful if you decide to proceed forward in this. I'm a rookie at this bit have a little bit of knowledge. Hopefully some of the older vets will chime in.

Finasteride has some bad sides attached to it on it's own and can potentially be dangerous when taking AAS. I'd look into that. Before I do anything

If you are already having a blood pressure problem AAS may not be for you wither. Allot of the different compounds put stress on the heart directly or play a role in raising blood pressure through water retention.

Some AAS play hell on the liver and raise enzymes to various degrees so if it's something you already battle may wanna stray.

AAS have the propensity to make you go bald. Not WILL make you go bald, but CAN make you go bald. If your hair is I big issue may not be for you.

You will be playing with fire

Do you take Cialis, it help me lower blood pressure on cycle maybe give that a try

You need some supplements to support your organs

NAC
Milk Thissle
Tudca
Higher dose Omegas 4-5gm a day
5% liver and Organ defender is good stuff had alt of good things in supports the whole body

Be careful what kind of fats you put into your body and watch sodium intake.

I would do this for a month or so, get some bloodwork and see where you're at. You may be able to keep your values at a reasonably low enough level where you might be able to play with some testosterone or Proviron.

And on a side not avoid alcohol and tylenol for a while see if that helps your liver out

yeah bro, with your different conditions, i dont think steroids are a very good option for you at all... there's to much going on here... i already hate to see anyone using finasteride to start with... you should do some research on post finasteride syndrome... you are a perfect candidate for sarms, where you wouldnt have to worry about anything hurting blood pressure or hair etc... they would be a FAR better option for you man

If you choose to go in with a cycle you gonna need to make sure that you're able to keep your bp on check cause a cycle will elevate your bp.

What goals are you trying to achieve on this?

I'd be cautious considering steroids given all of your conditions right now since most stacks can very easily make them worse. If you are feeling flatter in recent years, it may be worth speaking to an endocrinologist about, since you may benefit from TRT levels of testosterone .

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll take a look into the supplements mentioned and see what my liver enzymes look like in a month.

Finasteride- wow post fina syndrome is some scary stuff. Should I be looking to get off of it? What are some alternatives (probably a question for my doctor)?

Sarms - I'm not familiar with these or which ones can be trusted. Any suggested reading? Anybody have personal experiences with these? Over the years I learned to not trust anything T-boosting and kinda grouped these in with that in my head. Are they actually effective and safe?

Hey Dylan I would like your sarms cutting cycle recommendation for me. My current stats are
40 years old 5’10” 200 lbs bf 15% work out 5 days a week mix of weights and cardio. I’m a heavy equipment mechanic and farm so have a very active lifestyle. I eat relatively clean but improve regularly and drink only water. I have used GW, ostarine, and S4 in the past but need to stay away from S4 because my vision was very effected by it. My goals are to lose bf and build lean muscle.
