today was lower body

it consisted of 5 sets of squats.

my last set was 185 for 8 reps, barely below parallel. this is kinda the most i've done in probably 8 months. i've done so much more, but i realize i'm getting back to where i was. :D being in ketosis, i know i can do much more, and probably break a PR as soon as i'm done with this dieting crap

weight is still at 245, so i'm guessing that's pretty accurate, even with the water fluctuating

everybody in my family and many other people in the area are catching a nasty bug. some people got temps of 104 or so..

i was trying not to get sick but i have a sore throat today. does anybody know if there's carbs in vitamin C tablets?

Jeremys you`re on the right track. Keep it up. You have to GIVE IT TIME, though. I`ve been on CKD for 2 months I went from 230 to < 210. MOSTLY fat loss from 20+% to around 12 now.

Just stick with it.

I would have never thought it, but I look BIGGER NOW than I looked at 230. DEFINATELY better. I have an injury as well and figured since I can`t go all out with everything I might as well cut up before my next BULK cycle. good luck keep us posted

thanks man

am i giving the impression that i'm not being patient? im not trying to do that..just posting frequent updates

thanks again. your 2 months and down at least 8 percent progress gives me a lot of hope

Keep at it.

When dieting you're more open to illness, so up your Vitamin C intake. You can get sugar-free tabs. Also try for some Zinc if you can.

If you really don't want to get sick (since it may hit you hard, put your progress back and keep you out of the gym) then I'd consider upping your calories for a couple of days. Good stuff like steak will help you out and will fit in with your diet (presuming you intend to keep low carbing).

thanks, i'll up the cals

didnt go to school today..started with a sore throat, then flu-like appetite suppression, but i have to keep eating. feels like i'm shoving my face but i'm not eating enough. i'm also the phlegm king

exactly 4 weeks today

still sick today

last night i woke up 5 times, cold as hell, even t hough the temp in the house was above 72 and i had a bunch of warm clothes on. i could not walk straight without running into something. my head was hot but i was so damn cold...i actually thought i was going to die.

anyways, when i was ready to die, i started thinking. i realized that bodybuilding would be so facking boring..i knew that if i were to die a bodybuilder, i would not be happy. PLing is so cool. i thought i might try BB out one last time, maybe compete once, but i know it's not worth the time. this is it...it's time for the fun shit

now, i could either go down to like 12-14% and then start powerlifting training again, or i could start right when i get to like 16-18% and figure some way to decrease my blubber mass thereafter. i'd like to do the latter. any opinions/comments/help is always welcome

just get down to a level where you feel comfortable, then start training hard and eating right again. Get a good routine of diet and lifting going, and fat will slowly fade away.

Just make up your mind and stick to it. Changing your goals too often won't get you anywhere. You'll keep swinging back and forth between them and it will be very counterproductive.

Decide what you want and then plan absolutely everything you need to do in order to achieve it.

Once you've achieved it, decide the next thing you want to achieve, and the process repeats itself in a very productive and fulfilling way.

All the best deciding what you want to do!
