Craving random things....does it mean i need the nutrients?

I've been eating very clean for almost 2 weeks now. Although i haven't eaten any fruit, and tend to not eat MANY veggie's either. Lately I find myself craving aPPLES, banannas, etc. Does that mean my body needs that?....I'm trying to cut, and was told fruit = bad on a cutting diet. Any advice?
 
From my experience, YES. You need those nutrients, or at least something to substitute for them. I've had the same thing. Be careful, because if you let that craving go for too long, you may end up with problems (such as binge eating, etc.).

I am still working on listening to my body for what it needs. When I feel I need some carbs, I get some fruit or some veggies and viola -- the craving is gone.

If you want to eat fruit, which is fine, do it in limited amounts, and preferably in the morning or pre-workout.
