Ok, I have a good one from a couple of months back:

I went out into town in my lunch hour to pick up a birthday present for my girlfriends nephew that we where seeing that weekend.

I cant remember what I was wearing, but I think it was one of the shirts that makes my 252lbs look bigger that others, don’t know why, just does…

Anyway, I kind of bowl into the toyshop in town and the first thing I hear is “fu**ing hell” shouted out from a female shop assistant who is standing on a stepladder stacking shelves by the door!!! Now at 6’4” I was nearly at the same height as this girl with her on the ladder, which might have added to the effect.

I wish I had some witty remark to make back, but it left me a little speechless since:

1) It’s not the sort of thing you hear in a toyshop!
2) It’s not the sort of thing you expect in any shop!
3) What the hell do you say to that?!

She then clasps her hands over her face then goes an amazing shade of purple when she realises that she has screamed it out loud, and I look around the shop to see all of the parents glaring at her as cover their kids ears.

She apologises, and kind of tries to hide from me for the rest of the time I was in there, only I keep catching her and some of the other assistants she went and spoke to taking looks over their shoulders…

Think I then went and brought some faggy toy that probably ruined the whole image thing altogether...

Parents are telling me to stop working out because I'm getting too bulky.

I get that a lot too. Now that I'm an aspiring personal trainer I have an excuse, being big is advertising (and my supplements are a tax write-off )

I got a lot of comments when I came home last winter break, as I'd gone from 145 to 165. Apparently one of the most noticeable bodyparts was my butt. Like half my female friends were groping my butt and spanking it and stuff, it was great!

Hmm, everywhere I go people just gawk, I’m getting sick of it too, to tell ya the truth, oh well... gotta get used to it still, I guess. People also seem extra nice to me, lol

ok like last night I go into some pizza joint and ask for a large pizza, the girl was so soft spoken, I had to ask her to repeat what se said twice, then even after that, I had to tell her again what I wanted on the pizza, When the time came for me to get my pizza, 3 girls try to get my attention, the 2 that walked in (hot chicks too)....... she opens the pizza up and says is this ok???, I’m like..Yeah thanks, right on!! Put my two thumbs up and smiled …with an unexpressed grin lingering behind me...lol

I don't think any americans even responded to this thread. that seems odd.

I actually don't get many comments from strangers for some reason, outside the gym at least. at five seven and a half and 247 as of last night, I am certainly outside the physical norm, but mostly just get stares and people moving away from me.

Maybe the bald head and fu man chu mustache contribute to that. I don't know. But I do recall 6 months ago or so, 2 young fellas asking me if I really do bench 500 (I have a 500 club tattoo on my left shoulder) So I guess on occasion people do notice.

Kind of weird tho. When I was a kid, I wanted to be big and strong, and assumed that big and strong would lead to all kinds of attention from the femaninas, but instead I have become quite repellant to all members of the opposite sex except for my woman.

Just my luck. I spend the last 12 or 13 years getting big only to get there just at the time when it is out of fashion. Seems like in the clubs, most of the girls are within 20 lbs or so of the bodyweight of their fellas.

Being an asian guy it seems like i'm an anomaly. Every asian male's going for the anorexic concentration camp look, while i'm at the exact opposite. I'm not a big guy, only 5'8, 200 lbs, but it's funny that i get weird stares whenever i attend family reunions or go to temples. As for outside the asian community, i might be taking walks around my block, and the only people who seem to pay any attention to me are old people, lol.
