Cleans

Finally got to doing these today. a different feeling, and the rest of my workout I was pumped. I think I will include these in my workouts. I dig the explosiveness that I get afterwards.

but I realized I was doing a variation of a clean into a push press. I wasn't doing the clean and jerk, which I thought I was. oh well. also, I wasn't going all the way down when cleaning the bar. I just did these to get the feeling.

after doing these, I was able to hit the 40's on the tate press. fucking impressive for a skinny guy.
 
Snatches are better for explosiveness and easier to do. You don't need to go down all the way to the floor. I just lower the bar to above my knees and then explode into a jump, my legs actually leave the ground

Keep your back upright as much as you though
