Chocolate Cravings?

I know I can't be the only one that has constant daily cravings for Chocolate...? Or am I...? :lmao: I'm sure it also doesn't help that one of my medications indicates weight gain (from sweet cravings).

Is there ANYTHING that can help the cravings? I've heard drinking Aloe Juice helps curve the sweet cravings. I've tried it, ran out for now...but it did work some. And I make homemade sugar-free protein muffins with semi-sweet organic Choco chips...this helps at least make it semi-healthy.

Any thoughts? :p

PVL makes a great chocolate mouse protein shake another option is Stalon’s chocolate protein pudding those things are goooooooood :p

Well why not allow yourself a small piece of high quality chocolate daily?? I mean the really good stuff?? It might help........

Otherwise - they now sell Creme Savers in Sugar Free chocolate/caramel which are pretty good & chocolately. Or a chocolate protein shake?? Maybe a small portion of chocolate chips??

I do not have the cravings that often , my vice is salt..chips , french fries etc :worried:

But like Jen said , why not allow yourself a small piece to kill the craving.

I did just discover Whitman's Chocolate by Weight Watchers ;)

I like the english toffee and the caramel turtles , and the 2 piece packs are only $1.

110 Cals per pack. :p

I'm a compulsive chocoholic and perhaps the only thing that has helped me is will power and hiding chocolates! :chomp:

Funny you should mention that. I just saw a commercial for Godiva chocolate and almost went through the TV for it!

I've found if I make the sugar-free Jello chocolate/white chocolate pudding and mix a scoop of protein powder in with it, it will satisfy my craving. At least for a few days anway.

Then again, sometimes I have to break down and have a piece of the Dove Dark Chocolate. :chomp:

Not sure if this will help but...I have definately learned the hard way that deprivation does not work in the loing run for me. May not be great advice but I find my cravings are gone when I know that I am not excluding something. - However, as far as a remedy take a tsp of glutamine and mix it into a tbs of yogurt or cottage cheese - your cravings will disapear I promise!
