Calorie Intake Question...

Hey All,
I was wondering how many calories a fairly active person such as myself should be taking in daily??? I come in on average around 1900/2000 Cals... at least 150 g of Protein a day... Could I be losing muscle mass?

I am 5'10", 135 lbs...

personally i would bring up your caloric intake 2000 or so more. 5'10" 135 - i assume your bfp is really low. what are your goals? weight gain?

Lean mass is my long term goal I guess you could say... I have a mental issue about bulking because Ive never carried around excess mass and Im afraid of not being able to lose it... so its kinda a problem lol... 2nd, Im comfortable at my weight as I dont appear as thin as my stats would suggest and this is kind of my natural weight I would tend to think.

At the moment, Im simply trying to get stronger at the weight Im at... basically getting the most out of my body.

So then as long as Im not losing pounds, Im not losing precious muscle? GOOD... what about fluctuations in weight? I vary from 132-136 even when I consistently weigh myself 1st thing in the AM... Whats the story with that?

yeah. generally on average people gain and lose about 5 pounds daily. I usually weigh about 185 at night and 180 in the morning. Oxidation, sweating, pissing and a good shit can weigh about 2 pounds alone! that's totally normal, especially if you have a high metabolism

Funny i tell people this and they dont believe me.This is were most people get the i gained 5lbs the first week when i took something.I dont like my scale its not my friend! My weight bounces 5lbs a day depending on what i am doing also..
But hey if people need that in there mind to feel there geting ahead so be it.

BTW it is possible, at least therotically, to loose LBM even if the scale does not move. Body composition changes, you simply gain fat and loose muscle.
