Breakfast Meals from Ox

well then why not just eat once a day - pack 3k cals in one meal and forget about food for the rest of the day?! Such an excess in nutrients at one time is bound to be utilized in a manner not efficient at all - protein has high affinity to be converted to sugar - sugar to fat if you level of activity/energy expenditure is not on par with your nutrient intake. Not to mention frequent meals keep Hormonal levels stable (thyroid - faster metabolism and pancreas - stable sugar level=no hunger, no insulin spikes promoting lipogenesis), keep leptin levels stable/elevated, optimize not only your physical performance, but also neural with constant supply of aminos (for brain) and EFA's (for neurons particularly). that's off the top of my head...

not to pick on you bro, but most of what you said is incorrect. i don't feel like getting into it. but there are some reason why eating all your daily requirements at once is not the best idea when the alternative of spreading it out is an option.

a couple things to consider. everything you eat gets converted into glucose. carbs 100% protien 50% and fat 15%.

high intake of carbs = more t4-t3 conversion

leptin - no one really knows what controls them. fat intake seems to show some promise

also know that your body can only handle a certain amount of food. the rest of it sits in your tummy making you feel sick and bloated until it can get to it.

Who are you kidding fella? There's a reason why your arms are so sore...should I further extrapolate?!?! ;)
Tushay!!
Practice makes perfect, and now they're just dress rehearsals. Great for the fore arms too.

Uhh, that's why I said that one big meal is inefficient, frequent nutrient intakes are the deal....
