Breakfast Meals from Ox

My 3 favorite:

First place:
1 carton of egg white (250 cals, 50g protein, 0 fat, 0 carbs,
1 can of black beans drained and rinsed (300 cals, 51 carbs, 21 fiber 18 protein 1.5 fat)
2 slices of fat free american cheese (60 cals, 10g of protien)

i make it like a giant omlette. only it gets messy and looks more like egg white and beans with cheese. i love this!

Second place:
1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (300 cals)
2 scoops of oatmeal cinnamin protien powder (300 cals)
4 packs splenda

Third place: (in a rush)
3 scoops muscle milk (522 cals)
waring blender, ice, water, = dairy queen blizzard for breakfast

Sounds delicious. Personnaly I never consume more than
a maximum of 400 cals at once meal. I prefer splitting as much
as possible. I usually opt for 300 cals a meal. even if I have to eat
every 1.5 hours.

BTW: Where is the FAT in these breakfasts?

300 cals bro? You cutting? that's like 1 and a half chx breasts......on 1.5 tb of anpb.........cmon....gotta shoot for 5-600 at least, no?

i try to eat big in the morning because most studies have shown eating big early means eating less later..... There are people who claim eating anything in the morning speeds up youre metabolism and spikes insulin making you hungrier throughout the day.

Bulking OR cutting, I always shoot for 300-400
of cals per meal. The more you split your meals, the better
and less chance of fat deposits, the better the insulin response,
the better the absorption etc.. etc...

I concur, in all my meals I stay within 400 cals in terms of pro+fats, except my practices and weight lifting, then i have moderate carbs+pro+low fats - still in 400cal range. More meals=staying anabolic, and as long as you don't spike insulin you will also be burning fat for fuel as long the intensity of stress (natural or excercise induced) is below medium.
I like to start out with solid food to get metabolism in operational mode and then slowly transition into shakes, mainly due to convenience (college life) - sort of like coasting, while keeping metabolic rates optimized.

For breakfast scrambled WHOLE (yea including yolks you pussies) eggs/omelette + cheese :p

Pussies!!!
Well, you know what they say, you are what you eat, so I guess I'm a big pussy:D

Wonder how many cals in pussy? :licker:

eating 1000 calories from chicken at 8am will last you double the amount of time as eating 500 calories of chicken.

so why would you want to have to have another 500 calories of chicken 3-6 hours later (than the 5000 cals worth) vs just eating the 1000 calories at once.

Who are you kidding fella? There's a reason why your arms are so sore...should I further extrapolate?!?! ;)

well then why not just eat once a day - pack 3k cals in one meal and forget about food for the rest of the day?! Such an excess in nutrients at one time is bound to be utilized in a manner not efficient at all - protein has high affinity to be converted to sugar - sugar to fat if you level of activity/energy expenditure is not on par with your nutrient intake. Not to mention frequent meals keep Hormonal levels stable (thyroid - faster metabolism and pancreas - stable sugar level=no hunger, no insulin spikes promoting lipogenesis), keep leptin levels stable/elevated, optimize not only your physical performance, but also neural with constant supply of aminos (for brain) and EFA's (for neurons particularly). that's off the top of my head...
