I'm asking this on behalf of my friend. My mate is a very slim guy looking to build up a bit. He's started training in my gym with me so I can give him some guidance.
We've been doing about 4-5 days a week for a few weeks now.
The problem is that he keeps getting a cold / flu every week for a number of days.
I've told him to start taking vitamin supplement pills to help boost his immune system, but he insists that he never gets ill (not for many years) and doesn't believe they're necessary (he says he can get everything from his food).
Will you please help me convince him to take vitamin supplements, and maybe also recommend some? I've suggested the Opti-Men ones but they don't have much magnesium in.
