Before You Set Up Your Home Gym, Read My Advice!!!!!

mirrors were $1500.00 and the mats $400. I got the mats from a local fitness store that seels equipment to gyms and residential gyms. I probably paid too much but the mats are very thick solid rubber and heavy which keeps them in place. Mirrors were custom cut to fit the room, however the sheets themselves are not bad

Get some olympic dumbbells. Buy a bunch of 25s and 10s to use on them. You can make dumbbells up to 200 lbs or more with them. Alot cheaper. And you'll eventually need the extra weights anyway.

Well done. It sounds awesome. Do you have a projector for the home cinema?

I would have skipped the mirrors though. Just my pet peeve. I hate mirrors in gyms.

Wow. Mine cost a lot less.

Power rack
Glute ham raise
Reverse hyper
Chest supported t-bar row
Extra platform
Plate loaded high/low pulley
DB rack with DB up to 200.

1100 pounds of iron weights
Elite OL comp set
Chains and bands
Sled

Most of the stuff was acquired over time for next to nothing. Probably less than $1500 total.

i am thinking about setting up a home gym in the future.... im goin barebones though.. just barbells, plates, power rack, bench, rubber mats.. thats pretty much it....

i'll eventually get a glute ham raise and reverse hyper..
