I was doing this routine for about three years off and on. Do you see the need to switch.
Monday Chest/Bi's
tues- Cardio
Wed- Back /shoulders/ tris
thurs- Cardio
Friday Legs
Sat Rest
Sunday Repeat..

Now I tried the "Male specific" workout from EAS With an emphasis on building size and strength....It goes like this
Monday- Chest choulders Tris
Tuesday- lower back and abs
Wed- back and bi's
thurs- Lower back and abs
Fri -Legs
Sat and sunday rest then repeat.

The reps are Basically two exercises per bodypart with three sets.
And a cadence of 1,2,3, up and 1,2,3,4,5, down....
Now this cadence thing fucked up my whole workout....I counting in my mind as I am lifting and it threw my attention off.
My bench went down by 20lbs....Is that normal? I usually use a 2,2 cadence (2 sec up 2 sec down) How does this rep speed affect muscle growth and should I worry if I am droping weight or is my ego getting a hold of me.....
I also hate doing chest and shoulders on the same say!!! Is that normal or do most guys train with a push/ pull program?? Please help! My ego is shattered....

yes

i did the EAS bodyforlife program, 6 day split, 3 cardio (tue/thur/sat) and 3 w/weights (mon/wed/fri). it's a great wkout to build a foundation for training. i dropped my bodywt from 190 down to 175 3/4. my bodyfat went from 11.9% down to 4.8%. like i said, it's great to build a foundation or to do a photo prep.

Whenever you make a change like that, even as small as a rep cadence, it will throw you off because now you have to start thinking about something that was natural before. Don't worry about it, you'll get used to it.

I go back and forth between chest/arms and chest/shoulders. The change will do you good. Again, it will become normal for you soon.

Bill Phillips is a hypocrite. Its all about selling his supplements which are overpriced and for the most part useless. I wouldn't follow him around the block. You were basically doing the same workout only now the timing is different. If you are happy with your progress go for it, I just can't stomach bullshitters.

if you have not tried the wkouts, then don't critique them. the splits are actually different then what was initally posted. upper is one day and lower is another, two days out of the 6 (ex. mon and fri) are reserved for one bodypart, while wed is the opposite, also, cardio is tue/thur/sat. sounds different to me, what do you think?
