am I eating alright ? please respond !!! Guys & Gals opinions needed !!!

I am seriously trying to bulk. I am female 5'6, 37 yrs. old, 130 lbs. I have a thin build & it's kinda hard for me to build muscle.

I weight train 5x a week. HEAVY !!! 3-4 sets, 8-12 rep range. This is what I try to eat normally each day-

7am- 22 gr. protein shake, small clementine or bananna, as I run out the door

10am- 1/2 c. oatmeal, 3 egg whites-scrambled

1pm- can of tuna or 3-4 oz chicken, 1 cup green beans

3-4pm- WEIGHTS !!!

Post-workout- 44 gr. protein shake, handful almonds.

6:30-7:00 pm- 4oz. chicken or turkey, green beans, or spinach

9:30-10:00 pm. BEDTIME !!! 22 gr. protein shake, or protein pudding
 
You may need to take in a bit more carbs especially post workout if your goal is to gain muscle mass. This also depends on how much, if any cardio you do and on how intense your weight training sessions are. Having such low carbs PWO just means that some of the protein you are ingesting is used for replenishing energy levels and not exclusively for muscle regeneration.

Well, diet is very subjective, meaning it depends on the person. Weigh yourself before starting this & get a bf measurement, then after 6 weeks do both measurements again & see if you've made progress.....
 
I just have one question..................why are you trying to bulk at 130lbs??? DO you know your bf%? Get that in line first............
 
well first find out your bf% then maybe go from there, but if your really skinny, you may want to add more carbs, oatmeal is good, but more things like sweet potatoes, black beans with brown rice.good luck
 
The timing of the meals and the contents of the meals look all in order.

In my opinion, you are not eating enough...especially because you are lifting heavy...and trying to bulk up!

Try to include some more quality food in your diet: sweet potatoes, rice. More chicken and lean fish [instead of protein shakes]. Don't get me wrong, protein shakes are good, but I always lean toward wholesome quality food as opposed to supplements.
