Affects of Cutting on Lifts?

Thinking about cutting some BF soon, just curious to see what everyone else experiences...

How durastically does cutting affect your lifts-do they continue to slowly increase, flatline, or decrease?

I'm expecting some level of fatigue, which I know I can work through...just curious as to how this affects most peoples lifting.

it depends on your training, and how drasticly you restrict your calories... if you drop a lot of weight quick, plan on losing some strength... but if you take your time, train heavy, you will be better off at preserving it, possibly keeping it... genetics will also be an issue...

I imagine every1 is different, but for me eating below maintenance calories severely affects my strength. It won't for the first couple days, but once I've depleted my stores and I'm under budget on calories the strength goes quickly. I can't tell you any actual percentage, I just know its not fun.

The best way I can explain it is things "Feel Heavy" again. You sit under that 225 on the bench and you lift it off and it actually feels like some weight on there, and your like wtf this shit is heavy!

Shouldn't make any difference if you do it right. I'm on a timed keto diet at the moment, eating less than 30g carbs and that's split between pre and post-wo. Eating lots of fats and protein. I've lost nearly 9lbs in 2 weeks and all my lifts are still going up. And I'm natty. Whether I'm losing muscle mass or not, on the other hand, is a different story!
