A pro posted his w/o routine in a mag, but I just don't get it...

It's a swedish guy called fredrik age, and this is his split:

day 1: chest and *biceps*
day 2: *back*
3 rest
4 shoulders and triceps
5 hamstrings and calves
6 rest
7 quads and abs

it's in the latest ed of swedish B&K mag, a mag which advocates the flex overtraining training principles.

demn, i think of all the youngsters following his routine... "hmm... biceps getting smaller? well, 20 sets, drop sets and negatives is probably not enuff..."

Why would anyone follow a pro's routine, anyway? Do they honestly think they can be a coleman or something?

Maybe they want to take the advice of someone who knows what it takes to become a pro?

I wonder what Ronnie Coleman was thinking growing up....just a thought.:)

from the way ronnie coleman expresses himself, he doesnt think much...or that often. hehehehe.

most of the routines are templates written by ghosts. they follow weider principles usually. they are just alright, usually controversial and wont generally hurt someone. the reason they wont hurt someone is because someone will do that particular exercise regime for a month until the next issue comes out and then they will jump on that bandwagon.

weider mags....periodizing people's workouts....through monthly issues! LOL. how creative. but i doubt thats the plan. :D

I have read very few routines that I thought were actually written by the bodybuilder in the article. I did like Dorian's book though...a lot.

b fold: i watched Dorians "blood and guts" video, and i was surprised that he used a lot of machines and less free weights. Ge didn't even do squats...

I'm not too sure how a lot of the pros are... but wouldn't it make sense to keep what is REALLY working for them kind of under wraps...
Its how the BIG stay BIGGER, and the SMALL stay SMALLER..

LMFAOOO!!!

I hope for your sake you dont really think the secret to a pro physique is hidden in their training journal! LOL
