i have a couple questions...

can u cook bacon on a george foreman grill?? i just found some turkey bacon in the freezer and it looks like some pretty good stuf...low in fat, zero carbs, and not bad protein.

also, is there a difference nutritional wise if i scramble egg whites as opposed to boiling them and eating the white?

I would think you could cook bacon wth a G. Forman grill, why not?
As for egg whites, they have the same nutritional value no matter how you cook them. If you scramble them you can add ham and cheese to them which means........More Protien!

Yes you can, but just a quarter cup grated cheese and that would take up the majority of your daily allowance of fats.
Read below to learn more.

If you are on a cutting phase as a body builder trying to get ripped then I would not add fats from dairy products, but rather stick to polyunsaturated fatty acids of the omega 6 and omega 3 type. that is why people take the "tablespoon" of flax seed oil cuz it is rich in omega fatty acids.

If you were say over weight and working on trimming down then you should consider that 3 serivngs of fats per day are allowable, however a qt cup of cheese added to scrambled eggs would be 2 servings.

When trying to lose weight from a health concious view it is total calorie intake you should monitor. fats provide 9 calories per gram and should make up 30% (roughly) of your total daily calorie intake. So if you are on a 2000 calorie a day program, fats would make up aprox 65 grams or 585 calories.

Take a look at how many grams of fat are in one tablespoon of mayo or say ranch dressing.

No matter what ratios of Protien, carbs, and fat people argue are best for achieving certain goals, one thing is true, you need a balance of all three everyday and a multi vitamin.
Its just basic fuel
