Six year old girl groped by TSA (video)

Also there was this guy and his encounter

"Today, I was detained by the TSA for about 30 minutes for taking pictures while going through security. Taking pictures is perfectly legal.

I took pictures of the "advanced imaging" machines that see through your clothes – the machines that are the subject of so much controversy lately. I was quickly besieged by TSA agents shouting at me to stop taking pictures. I was then detained while they tried to figure out what to do with me.

I should point out that (as far as I know), taking pictures is perfectly acceptable. The following is a section of the 2008 TSA Screening Manual:"

Honestly, I fail to see why this should cause any more outrage than, say, an active duty service member being subjected to a search when they are on their way to be deployed :whatever:

The child was treated in a professional manner, the TSA agent was explaining everything she did while she did it, and the search was no more rough or invasive than any other pat down I've seen. Obviously the parents didn't want her to go through the scanner, so that's what happens.

Shit, terrorists have NO problem handing a grenade to their child, pulling the pin and telling them to run up to the soldiers. Drug smugglers have NO problem telling children to swallow balloons filled with drugs. Just because a human being is under the age of 18 doesn't mean they cannot be a bomb or mule.

Bush started dismantling the bill of rights long before Obama came on the scene, you people gave up your right to unlawful search and seizure last decade and smiled while it happened.

I love how we simply subject children to this type of behavior in the attempt to pretend we don't know who terrorists are? this country is so PC it's sick. Why is profiling bad again???

You are right terrorists do this. Last I checked Sabrina from Witchita The 6 year old was not in a war zone wearing baggy clothes and heading up to a road block. She was boarding a plane.

And who was smiling when Bush started taking away our rights? Anybody taking our rights away is a bad thing and this is from the head of the TSA not Obama's desk. No body here brought up either of those two idiots.

No way or no reason is good enough for any person to have to be subjected to this "search and seizure". This is constitutionally illegal yet it happens thousands of times a day. It is unacceptable.

I agree with MM. This child wasn't violated and this was her parents' doing. They could have opted for her to simply walk through the scanner, but they didn't.

You are saying she couldn't possibly be a terrorist but I don't see why not. Sure, she's maybe less likely but why not? Because she looks 'American'/white. Well white terrorists exist, so that can't be it. Is it because she's a child? Children being used by terrorists exist too.

You're right though, this wasn't some middle eastern war zone, but what's your point? Because the way I see it, America is just as likely to harbor people with extremist/crazy/greedy mindsets as anywhere else.

People south of us use babies and children to smuggle drugs in to the U.S. Terrorists are using children to bomb buildings and soldiers, but no, there's no possible way any white American could ever do anything as crazy as using a child to accomplish their goals. White Americans are far too moral for that.

Give me a fvcking break. Lol @ any of you thinking people all over the world use children to carry out their dirty work but there's no way a white person could possibly do that to her child.

And as for breaking constitutional rights, you can say you have the right not to be searched, but I have the right to fly on a plane and know I'm not going to get to my destination in 1000 pieces.

I watched while my son, IN FATIGUES, walked through the security line carrying his boots (before scanners came online). He was not deploying to the the middle east, but he easily could have been. The military uses mostly commercial airlines anymore. If military personnel carrying orders, who are about to put THEIR ASS on the line for you and every other SOB in this nation are going to be subjected to scanners and searches, why should some soccermom's precious princess be exempt?!

Shit, the last time I flew I watched an Amish woman, AN AMISH WOMAN!!!, get pulled for a random security screen.

Give me a break. Justice for all = INjustice for all, too.

And considering at 46, it's been a long time since I've been a teenager so Sabrina's a bit off. Also, I'm not a witch, I'm a wiccan. The difference is subtle, but exists. It's sort of like the difference between a Baptist and an Episcopalian.

I completely agree with MM, I'm pining this one on the parents for not allowing the damn scan, and anyway the child was inconvenienced but not mistreated, in anything the TSA agent was very professional and caring, she would say "pretty hair" while searching her head so the kid wont freak out or be scared.

The kid wont be a terrorist but her parents could be and they could have hidden something in her, it's sad but possible...

My mother-in-law is 74 years old, is the most dignified and refined lady you could meet, and goes to church every Sunday with President and Mrs. Bush, and she was groped by the TSA when she was in a wheelchair after a broken hip. If SHE is a terrorism threat any more than this little girl is, then we're in a world of hurt. TSA = "created jobs". Enough said.
