What are your five favorite meals/recipes while on a ketogenic diet? Post em up! (And mods - dont move this shit to the muscle food board because I'd like some answers. Thanks.)
 
well i dont know how keto this is but its close.


one big pack of albacore tuna in the new freeze dried pouches
( 50 something grams of protein )

half bag a raw baby spinach

four teaspoons flax oil

and a little natures seasoning.

maybe throw in some carrot too

there you go, it's simple but yet effective at putting on lean body mass.
 
omelets. Bacon/ham/green onion/cheese/ lots of hot sauce.
 
When i was doing a keto diet my favourite meals were:

Spinach Cheese Fritata :)
Thai Chicken Curry (without the rice lol)
Roast Chicken
Scrambled Eggs and Mayonaise
Indian Chicken Curry

I cooked most myself so i could limit the bad stuff + carbs :)
 
-Grilled chicken w/ ranch dressing, cheese, 2tbsp olive oil.

-Pepperoni w/ cheese.

-walnuts and more walnuts

-steak or hamburger patty, cheese, ranch, tbsp olive oil if needed to get enough fat in for the day.

-Tuna, even more cheese, oil if needed.

- and of course--- eggs, shredded cheese and sausage!

Big Salads with Ranch Dressing

CHEESE!!

Garlic Chicken:

Saute chicken in oven safe pan in olive oil and garlic until brown, almost burnt. Then add in a little bit of white whine(optional, most of it burns off anyway) Then throw the whole pot in the oven for 20 minutes. Really yummy.

burns fat like a mofo
i do this before i go to bed and can still get shredded.

That chickens sounds good!

But the salad with lots of ranch dressing could be way too many carbs. Salads are usually borderline on being too many carbs for a keto diet, but a lot of dressing makes sure it is.
 
By big salad I mean, lettuce. 3 cups of lettuce or mixed greens is only 5 carbs. And it's all fiber. And let's face it. Anything slathered in Ranch dressing is awesome!!!!!

The chicken is great. It tastes the best when you make it with chicken on the bone and not chicken breasts or anything like that.
