i took weight gainer 1 hour before my work out just like it said on the container. went to the gym it's chest day and felt like a big pile of shit. like i had know energy. has anyone ever had this problem.

Yup, it's not an energy drink bro. It's for post workout. If you want to add weight then you don't take it before a workout, that's just going to burn it instead of storing it.

thats fucked up it said take 1hr before workout feel the energy. energy grandma was lifting more weight.
 
Those weight gainers that are commercially made are lots of times loaded with additives and sugars to make the extra calories. You probably overloaded the digestive system with all that crap, thus diverting all blood to try to digest it. If it was high in sugars also, you may have experienced a blood sugar crash also. This is what I am guessing happened.
 
It's a n00b mistake. I've done it before too, I feel your pain.

Stick to a WPI (whey protein isolate)/dextrose/maltodex. shake for during workouts.

Eat a TON of whole/clean food to put on quality muscle! Weightgainers have too much sugar and when I used a "weight gainer" it sure as hell gave me weight, but put on fat... waste of money, but whole foods bro.

It's a better idea to just return it and say it made you sick. That way you get credit for it and spend that money on whey protein.
