Who here does cardio in the morning and weights in the evening on the same day?

Personaly, I like to do cardio right after my weight training. Always had great results doing this...usualy 30 minutes on the recumbent bike keeping my HR @ about 130-140bpm. Soon as I'm done the cardio I slam my PW shake....75g dex, 50g whey.

On non-workout days I like to hit am cardio, 30 minutes on the treadmill, 4.0mph @ a 3 degree incline....I then wait 30 minutes after I'm done before I eat my first meal.

I'm cutting up for summer and doing about 4x 40 mins. cardio at a moderate pace and training in the evening, I don't do cardio on leg day...no way. I believe that doing cardio in a.m. and weights in the evening is good, but, if you want to maintain your size, don't do it, unless you're on cycle, then lean mass loss is very minimal. My workouts vary in intensity, some good days and some bad, but, all in all your body will adapt and you'll have tons of endurance.

My apt complex has an exercise room that i have a key to. I only have to go down 3 flights of steps and walk 10 yards to do morning cardio. If I wasn't working 9-10 hour days I'd go twice.

and judging by the last pic you posted, i bet its also got a killer weight set!

you are ONE MASSIVE MOTHA!!!!!!!!!!:fro:

I look my best when doing AM cardio and evening weights. I can eat like nobodies buisness during the day, lift and eat clean until bed.. works for me..

If I'm low carbing I'll alternate days, just to demanding.

I have done the cardio in the morning weights in the afternoon thing on 3 or 4 occasions when trying to drop BF (obviously). I think it all depends on the intensity of your cardio and how many calories you are eating a day. I definitely got ripped pretty quick doing it, I also lost quite a bit of strength. I think that was due to the diet I was on. I stayed around 75-100 g's of carbs a day, 40 g's of fat, and about 250-300 g's of protein a day for months at a time. I was clearly insane at the time. I did get ripped though, and my fitness level definitely increased. I could dominate a leg day without puking, it was great. Good luck!

I go for a run in the morning, usually 4-10 km, and i lift in the evening.

Awesome way to start AND finish the day:)
