When's the best time to train shoulders?

I currently train my whole body over 4 workouts- Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat.
Monday is always legs but I can't decide when to train shoulders. Should I train them the day after chest thereby giving the shoulders and chest a good 5 days to recover or should I space the chest and shoulder workout further apart so that muscle soreness doesn't effect the next workout?
I have included the workouts below- which one would be more effective and why?

Workout1
Mon= legs
Wed=back, rear delts
Fri= chest, biceps
Sat= shoulders, traps, triceps

Workout2
Mon=legs
Wed= chest, biceps
Fri= back, rear delts
Sat= shoulders, traps, triceps
 
here is what i just started

Mon= Chest/Delts
Tue= Arms ( Bis,tris,forarms)
Wed=OFF
Thur=Legs/Abs
Sat= Back/Traps
Sun= OFF

I use to have a seperate day for shoulders but I felt them so much on chest day I started bucching them togeather. So far so good really burnt at the end of my workouts.

When I go on again I will give shoulders their own day and move to a 5 day split
 
I like to train inter-related muscle groups as far apart from each other as I can. This is what I'm doing now..

Day 1 - Legs
Day 2 - Chest
Day 3 - Rest
Day 4 - Back, Traps
Day 5 - Shoulders

Just to give you more ideas ........ and this is off cycle, when on I'd up the frequency maybe combining some days
 
This is what I do for my shoulders:
chest day/front+side delts
back day/rear delts

Ever since I switched from having a just shoulder day to this, my shoulders have really blown up.
