When bulking: Eat clean for quality but less calories Vs. Eat anything for quantity

i tried eating a ton back about 6 monthes ago, 'bulking' as everyone here recommended. i only ate 3000 cals a day, and i gained a TON of fat, probably about 15lbs in 2 monthes, but I did put 15lbs of muscle on too. but then, to lose the goddamn fat, i lost almost ALL the muscle. personally I will never 'bulk' again, even if it gets me some more muscle (w/ fat) because I work out to look good, not fat.
i think it all depends on your metabolism, if you think its really hard to take in X amount of calories, maybe you just shouldnt.

Ditto most of that, I will not bulk again, but diet for mass.

As long as you eat 2 - 2.5 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight, and go above your calorie requirements it doesn't matter where tha calories come from.

Although it would be beneficial if they came from good sources, You will STILL GROW, if you keep your protein at 2 - 2.5 grams per lb of bodyweight.

It basically all boils down to your body type. If you're an ectomorph (skinny with a high metabolism), you can afford to eat a little dirty to gain as much as possible, but if you're an endomorph (higher BF, but easy to gain muscle), you should eat cleaner.

This is my favorite shake when bulking, works for me, I'm not worried about fat because i stay really lean year round. 2 servings of milk in the blender=300 cals. 2 servings of crunchy peanut butter=400 cals. I used a scoop of Optimum Nutrition, i think its like 120 cals. a serving. A 1/2 cup of oatmeal, around 120 cals. too i think. and finally I put a servings of ice cream in it. Taste great, takes ya about 5 minutes to get it all down. Last time i added everything up correctly, it was a little over a 1000s cals. and around 80 something grams of protein.

I just ate a whole big pack of double stuffed oreos and drank a half gallon of whole vitamin d milk.
Thats 2520 calories just in cookies, 1200 calories in milk.
Thats 3720 calories in one sitting. but I'm training for my 1st powerlifting contest so fuck it.

eat as many calories as you can shove down your throat, if you see some fat gains add t-3 and it will keep the fat off of you and improve your muscular gains.
