whats wrong with me???

Don't sweat it. I'm 6'2", 230, 10%BF right now and barbell movements are tough for me also. I haven't flat benched in awhile, but I have trouble with 315. My dumbell movements are alright though, incline 130lb dumbells for 6-7 reps and seated dumbell presses w/ 110's for 5-6 reps. I have the long arm thing going on. I'm also not on a cycle, but I still feel my barbell movements should be better.

Likle Dorian yates says, the weight doesn't matter. What mattters is the degree of muscle contraction. Concentrate on contracting the muscles you're working as hard as possible.

I'm looking better than I've ever looked these days, but when younger guys ask me what I bench, I don't even know -- since I don't do regular bench much. Gold's/Venice has these two phenomenal bench machines -- regular and incline -- that I use instead.

I don't even count how much weight I put on for my sets. it's all about how it feels.

Hey Lawnsaver... does it show up as gray? Or Red? I've received about 5 Karma points today... but they are ALL gray. Gray doesn't count for you, or against you. Red is negative.

I've got 5 points... but none of them counted.

Someone else was talking about this as well today.

the weight just serves as a resistance to cantract your muscles against. so if the resistance is high enough who cares how much it weighs !
:p

BigRugbyMan, your perfectly fine. To sume it up, its cause your a tall guy. As an example, place a 10lb plate on the end of a 10ft long closet pole and another 10lb plate on the end of a 5ft closet pole. Now, only holding the last 6 inches of each, which 10lb plate is easier to lift? The one on the short pole of course. Due to your hight, you likely have longer limbs as well, which means your muscles have to work harder since the weight is in essence farther from the muscles insertion point.
