This is what I have eaten so far today. I am 6'2, 250lbs. 9% body fat. 31 years old. I am trying to get to 6 or 7 % smartly.

I lift 1 body part per day with 30 min cardio after workout.

I just had minor surgery so I am out of the gym for at least 7 days so I am trying to adjust my diet accordingly. My diet is pretty much the same on workout days with the exception of PW dextrose and protien. I will probably have one more meal that will be mostly protien.

9 egg whites 1 yolk
1 slice ff cheese
banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
Myoplex
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 lb ground beef
small chicken breast

bro it looks good, some people it might not work for cos u got carbs in there and fruit but the some ppl it will work for, it's all individual so whilst it might look good/bad to us online, you'er the best judge to see if it works for u :)

Agreed. If it works for you stick with it, but if it were for me I would say it is the worst diet plan I've ever seen, short of the twinkie/mountain dew diet. Low fat and lots of fructose? I would have to sleep at least 12 hours a day, and wouldn't be able to do any heavy weight training, or intense cardio. So often this is an individual thing.

so you guys would suggest how many carbs a day and what kind for this guy to get ripped/cut?

i think it's difficult for anyone to estimate clearly how many carbs someone should have

A ball park figure would be around 150g a day - 200g but it all depends on how insulin sensitive he is, how active etc etc etc

just use an average number and track your progress closely and tweak things to suit you

at 250...your BMR = 3000 calories (that's wx12 low side)

I count more calories here than 2156 but the portions are not clear. If you ARE taking in 2156, then you're starving yourself by about 844 calories which is your weight x 8.5 WAY! under your normal BMP (250x8.5=~2125)...you're undereating and in due time you will go in starvation mode with gluconeogenisis as the main problem

[/b] solution: same % ratios: 50p/20c/30f but increase caloric intaked[/b]
