what are your favorite snacks and meal replacement

i'm trying to find some new snack material cause the beef jerky and cottage cheese is gettin a little old. i'm also lookin for a new meal replacement. so what do you guys use?
 
Champion Nutrition's UltraMet use to be very good. Their chocolate with some ice and water in a blender was like drinking chocolate cake batter milk shakes.
 
I've made homemade taffy from Beverly International Ultrasize, honey, Kettle brand all natural almond butter, and maple extract. Mix it up to a good and extremely thick consistencey, spay a cookie pan with Pam, spread the mix on the cookie pan, set in fridge for a few hours and then cut into taffy pieces. It beats eating candy...well, no it doesn't beat Butterfingers, but it's still pretty tasty.

Mmmmmmm....PB. What do you guys think about those Protien Plus Bars and such? The ones that say they have 23-26g protien in them. I tried a choc/PB one it tasted pretty good.
 
yeah i chow down on the pb regularly. i saw a protein bar that had 45g of protein in each one, i think muscletech makes it or something like that. i thought about getting some to try out.
 
at work i keep two things on my desk at all times

a bag of beef jerky and a container of assorted nuts

i like snacking on sliced turkey from the deli in between meals at home

muscle milk for meal replacement

black walnuts (maybe regular walnuts too) are at 2 oz the RDA of EFA's I think. I don't put much faith in the dietary RDA since it is an average for all people at certain levels of weight or health. If you can find butternut walnuts you are in like Flynn.
 
i agree jerky and pb are hard to beat. whenever i need something when im out ill grab a metrx big 100 or a couple pure protein bars at a convenience store
 
I have in my office:

organic almonds
organic pumpkin seeds
organic sunflower seeds
canned tuna / salmon
beef jerky
casein protein
protein bars
 
hard boiled eggs, trail mix, protein bars, oranges

I'd watch the jerkey because of it's high sodium or is there a low salt brand?
 
I just stop by mickey-d's and grab 2-3 double cheeseburgers off the dollar menu. They do have 25 grams of protien in each one. or I just bring a couple true mass or cyto gainer shakes in my cooler for work.
 
OsTrim meat snacks, nuts, rice cakes, champion nutrition whey stack, muscle milk when im feeling like a fatty, buffalo chicken sliced from the deli, turkey pastrami sliced from the deli, baby swiss and cheddar.. plus whatever was leftover from yesterday.. hehe.. i'm placing an order for the bars...because I have goals.
