B'the truth remind me never to piss you off.:)

Oak,

I don't know how else to tell you this, but you are a chronic liar. I've seen you most recent pics, have I not? BTW, how is it that you only squat 220 for 6 or 7 reps, but have these monsterous 25" quads and 18" calves?

Rember back when you posted the puking problem you have because your leg training was so grueling. 220 for 6-7? My lifting partner's girlfreind can do that ATF? And a 17" neck??? PLEASE!

People like you make it hard to trust anyone on these boards.

Thanks for the compliment, my numbers are legit. Check my post in Pictures of Members/Life begins at 40. I don't consider myself to be old, seems like just yesterday I was running track in college.

16 next week, 5'5, 12-14%bf, 179lbs (morning weight). Never maxed out.

I am getting fatter by the day in my bulk.
Chest = 45 inch
Quad = 25inch
Arm= 15.5inch :bawling:
Calves= 16 inch

I say I am very happy with my weight and size (considering my height). I am for the first time satisfied with myself - but that lasts little. I always look to improve, and I am currently bulking.

My girlfriend tells me a tall neck is classy - so I dont do neck. What are your opinions :confused:

Collin - you have a rather impressive bench considering your size and weight. I remember having 14 inch arms and being 165 - and I did not bench that much - even though I dont max . 5'1 !!!! :confused:
What I am saying is that with a bench that big, you should have a chest larger than 41 inch. I had a 42 when I was 165.

those are my stats,i have weird genetics believe me,my old man is the same way
big calfs,fat inner quads,big forearms compaired to upper arms

i am not lieing and dont care if you believe me,and 220 can be intense if its heavy for that person

keep doubting guys ,i know my body isnt big but im trying,those are my stats believe it or not

oak you got massive calves. i bet everyone comments when you wear shorts - especially when you are going upstairs. Comments like " god damn, that kids got too much meat there ".

Thats the kind of shit i get. I love it. But you man , 18 inch!! holy shit. soom good stuff.

i will also mention that when i read your stats i found them to be very strange especially with the picture i saw and the 16% bf. i think you should get those measurements done again.

I'm not trying to be an ass Oak, but those have been your stats and lifts for about a year now...perhaps you're doing something wrong? If you need some tips I'll be here...you might wanna check out wannabebigforums.com too....

I hope to reach those marks before I am 20 as well.

Hey thanks Blood. I've been training a bit differently as of late. To give you an idea of what I do now,

Incline DB press: 130's for 8-10
Seared DB Press: 105's for 7
Deadlift from knee: 560 for 6-8 (usually my third exercise.)

Blood you sound as if you know alot of what you are talking about, it would not surprise em if you surpass me by the time your 20.

Cak i agree those have been my stats for a year now but lifts are going up,i have had a problem with consistency and priorites,i go out instead of working out,i drink beer instead of water,my diet is shit,but its all being worked on and im going to put working out first,there is no exucses anymore ,i work at the gym and can go right to the weights once im off,no more excuses,im bustin ass in the gym,if you have any tips though feel free to pm me,all input is welcome

Man...set a goal. I've never ate consistantly till now. I set a goal to compete in a contest and everyday that I wake up I think about that contest and what I need to be doing to prepare. If it is on your mind constantly...you will prepare constantly. maybe I am psycho...probably.

Size 15 shoe...I remember when I could wear a 15. I wear a 16 in New Balance running shoes and 17 in most all Nike's. I am in dire need of finding some super tight rock climbing shoes for doing the truck pull asap but can't find any in my size. Any help is appreciated.

day4 legs
squats 6x 6-7
leg press 3x6-8
hack squats 3x6-8

diet is not consitent like i said but ive been upping protein and im getting about 150 or so grams a day now,i basically eat alot fo chicken,3can of tuna a day,veggies,rice,eggs,it all gets made into 5-6 meals a day

nah i dont doubt you. i remember when you came to this board and there was a big fiasco. i saw you from a distance at the Olympia last year as well. was gonna say hi, but you were busy. good job on all the progress.

bignate- I just had to clear this up on the women's board too- it wasn't me on these boards before. I was too busy with law school to even get on-line to check mail much less go to boards and post. The thing that I don't get is that I'm nobody special and someone decided to impersonate ME??:mad: Anyway, I had to have that taken care of but this time it is me.:)

*clears throat*
I just measured and remeasure my chest, and I am happy to announce it is now a 46 incher. 11 weeks of bulking to go . :D

5'11
270
CHEST=53 1/2
ARMS=19
THIGHS=30
CALVES=19
WAIST=38:(
BODYFAT=15-20%

BENCH= 225 for 27 times, 318 for 8, 365 for 3
SQUAT= 495 for 3 Parallel

Yo, sorry...

my Routine is
day1 chest/tri's/calfs
db incline 4 x 6-8
flat db press 4x6-8
db flys 3 x 6-8
close grip bench 3x6-8
skullcrushers 3x 6-8
pushdowns 2x 6-8
standing calfs raises 4x6-8
seated calfs raises 4x6-8

***Well I'd drop volume a lot. I would also switch the inclines with declines or dips, and do them first for 3 sets. Then follow this with 2-3 sets of flyes and that's it for chest. For triceps I would drop the pushdowns and just do CG's and skulls for 2-3 sets. Calves are ok...although you prolly don't need that much it won't really hurt.

day2 back/bi's
deadlifts 4x4-6
t-bar rows 3 x 6-8
chins 3 sets to failure
lat pull downs 3x6-8
standing bb curls 3x6-8
incline db curls 3x6-8
hammer curls 3x6-8

***Drop the pulldowns. Vertical row, horizontal row, and a deadlift works the entire back. I would drop deadlift sets down to 3, and chin and t-bar sets down to 2. Just a tip on chins is to use an underhand grip (palms facing you), this position puts the biceps in their strongest position so you can give your lats more work before the biceps fail on ya. I would drop either the incline curls or the hammer curls, and 2 sets should suffice, but the extra probably won't hurt.

day3 shoulder/traps/calfs
military press 3x6-8
db military press 3x6-8
side delt machine 3x6-8 (not sure of the name but you knwo the one)
bb shrugs 3x4-6
db shrugs 3x 4-6
standing calf raises 4x6-8
seated calf raises 4x6-8

***Pick either DB military or BB, not both...I like DB's. I don't like side laterals, but if you do then keep them. Again, no need for both DB's and BB's on the same exercise, pick which shrug you like best. Calves again won't hurt, but prolly won't help either.

day4 legs
squats 6x 6-7
leg press 3x6-8
hack squats 3x6-8
lying leg curls 4x6-8
standing leg curls 4x6-8

***Squats are good, but I really don't think you need 3 of them, lol. Just do squats or a squat substitute. You may want to drop either squats or deads (i say deads) because both involve a very strong isometric/static contraction of the lower back, thus it will take a long time to recover. Something to consider. Pick one of the leg curls and drop sets a bit. Drop sets of squats down to at most 5, too.

Add weight and/or reps every week, sleep at night, you will grow.

About you diet, just eat until you can't eat anymore every few hours with a portion of protein in. If you are trying to lose fat then there's more to it than that, if so tell me....

Cak,i did your routine you suggested for chest day and i didnt feel it as much as i did the one i have been using,i feel i went with same intensity,it may have also been cuz i felt like shit today,ill keep using it and see if it was just today

The bros that train in kilos (europe, s. america) will get weird stats in pounds. Example : 35 kilos on each side of the bench, plus the 20 kilo bar. that equals 198lbs - not 200lbs.

Oak,

The great thing about decreasing the volume, is that you can now afford to up the intensity. Since you will be doing less sets/reps, you can go at each lift like its the last one you will ever do. )As opposed to those who spend 3 hours in the gym sandbagging each lift because they know they need to reserve the energy.) Keep it up, you will grow.

6ft 3

206lbs 9%

That might not look so brilliant, but I have only been training seriously with diet etc since March this year when I was about 180 or so.

I have to say that when they say consistant diet is the key, they mean it, I have not deviated from one meal since then, I may have eaten differently, or if Ive not felt like eating I would drink a MRP shake, but I have always got my calories and the difference it makes is just unbelievable.

I would actuallyt class myself as a hardgainer with my metabolism, I am eating 4,350 calories just to maintain that weight and will soon be at 5,000. It is v.hard eating like that in summer!!
