Most docs that Ive been to also chart you as being over weight on the body mass index. My doctor took out probably the same stupid chart and told me my index was way too high, even though i am in good shape. Sometimes it seems like theres no arguing or convincing these people.

Haha, my doc did the same shit. Told me I was very overweight. My BMI was 29 I beleive and he said I was almost to the extreme obesity section.

He probably means CK levels, those get elevated from "severe muscle damage", which is what we inflict upon ourselves every time we hit the gym. Lol, my dad's an MD, he thought my levels were bad too until he realized that simple weight-lifting was the cause.

these will be high in drug free atheletes as well. though agree this is the most likely case.

I'm lucky. My doc is a sports med doc and sits on the IOC doping committee! I go in there and discuss AAS cycles. We go back and forth with different ideas, then he draws my blood and I'm done. Perfect. He also told me to increase my tren dosage and run it longer. I love the guy!!! ;) Another great thing, when my T levels come back a little low he circles it in a big red pen and writes "low" above it! He's not happy til my natural levels are at 1000! Gotta love an intelligent doc. :)

awesome!

Just a note: Muscle is better than fat, but extra weight puts strain on the heart - thats what the docs are concerned with. Yes, the BMI is bullshit, but next time ask WHY he thinks your over weight - guaranteed he will talk about long term strain on your heart. Steroids can get us past our genetic potential when in comes to muscle size/strength - but does nothing to compensate for the genetic limitations of such things as your heart. Just a cautionary note.

my doc a dick too time for a new one. i went to have blood work last week and told him i wanted prolactin/progesterone levels checked as well as others and he's like 'if you're not growing tits you dont need them checked" i said i wanted them checked anyway and when we figured aas, he went thru the whole "promise me you will not do it again thing" ... time for a new one.

docs tell you shit ot scare ya. leads to more treatment for them and more money for them. just shit man. if your clean on the tests then screw him.

So I go to the doctor for a yearly exam and he tells me that I have a high muscle enzime count. So I say what the fuck does that mean. He does another blood test and every thing else is normal. So he asks me if I am doing steriods and I told him I have. he starts going off on me telling me that I am going to die and blah blah blah. But every other test came back fine. Has anyone ever had this issue with thier muscle count. By the way this jackass tells me I am 35lbs over weight according to a chart from 1950!

1.) Never admit to your family practioner that you are doing AAS. It's a cardinal sin.

2.) Find another MD, preferably an endocrinologist who will work with you and probably start you on HRT.
