Warrior diet

Man, I picked this book up, just for entertainment purposes and so I could become more informed on all the new diets out there......is this shit crazy? One friggn all out meal a day? In the pm, eat until you are full and then eat some more???? Does this make any sense? Granted, I just started reading it, but it appears thats the theory. Correct me if I'm wrong, but SUmo wrestlers do the same thing and look at them.

Did a search on amazon and was surprised at the amount of positive reviews and testimonials this book got. (I'm sure no one is getting paid. :))

Just another way to market a diet that still falls back on the "burn more than you eat" principle. In this case, starve all day long and consume your entire days worth of calories in one sitting. If you're burning 2500 calories during the day and eat a 2000 calorie "buffet style" meal every night, you'll lose weight.

Obviously not the best diet for the bodybuilder, nor a practical diet for most people, but I imagine some people who don't care if they lose muscle or fat might like the idea of this type of eating plan. Here's an article on it:

Keep in mind that the actual website for this "Warrior Diet" is also heavily promoting supplements and bars to take along with your food.
