Wants to keep lifting

Anybody got any advice to a 54 y.o. retired FF who wants to keep lifting. He's been lifting for 20 years. Because of some injuries he sustained in the course of his profession, it's getting harder to keep going because of mild soreness that probably will always be there. He tried Primo but it made his joints sore. He wants to try deca to reduce soreness. Should he try some winny to reduce the bloat caused by the deca? How much deca? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure others will comment about the ANA usage, but maybe its time to change the way you train. You would probably want to define the term "soreness" because I am sitting here two weeks out from a powerlifting meet and am icing my back and in a helluva lot of pain. :)

When I switched from BB workouts to PL - many of the painful problems I had such as shoulder and bicep tendonitis went away. Of course I don't look like a BB, but I do still get to lift - which is something I enjoy and it sounds like you do to.

I may not have answered you true question, but just a couple thoughts from my own experiences. Take care.
