the moment i train five days a week with the following split
monday -legs
Tuesday -chest
Wednesday - Biceps
Thursday- shoulders and traps
Friday- back and triceps

but i'm looking for a job and when i get one i was thinking of cutting down to four times a week. What i was thinking is one week take monday as a rest day and miss legs, the follwong week take tuesday as a rest day and kiss chest. Basically this would mean training every body part four weeks out of five with one week off. Do you think this would adversley affect my muscularity or would the rest do me some good??

Wimp.

Back and Bi

Rest
Chest & Tri
Shoulders Traps
Cardio
Jerk off and watch porn (my version of cardio)

Comments about how your change in routine will affect your muscularity is pointless. Only you know for sure how you respond to variations in your routine.

That's actually not a bad idea bro. If you are going heavy, and concentrating on compound movements done with intensity, with approximately 1/2 of the total amount of sets done being done to failure, then you can take as much as (imo) 10 days off between major muscle groups. That is just my experience though, and is how I have gotten my best results bro. You will have to try it out for yourself though & see how it effects you. You might even find that the extra rest might contribute to some further growth, assuming you may not have been getting enough rest in the first place. You need rest as we all know, as THAT is when you grow.

My question though is: Why the hell do you devote a whole day to just Biceps?? If it were me, I would break that leg routine up into two days (Quads one day, Hammies/Calves another), and switch that Bicep day to Triceps/Bi's/Forarms. Again though--that's only me.

Here's my routine bro, if you want to scan it over. It allows me alot of free time to do other things, provided I don't miss days, and I always go heavy & intense. If those are a constant, then I need the rest believe me! I have been doing this routine since I was 24, and it works for me. It is done on a 2 on/2 off regimine...goes like yeah:

Day 1: Quads

Day 2: Chest/Abs

Day 3:: Back/Traps

Day 4: Triceps/Biceps/Forarms

Day 5: Hamstrings/Calves

Day 6: Shoulders/Neck

I don't really do cardio, as my diet is decent all year round. I didn't feel like posting the exact routine, but you get the point as far as the frequency of training goes I'm sure. Good luck either way bro. It sucks whn you have to try to make time to squeeze in workouts.

yeah undertand what your saying about missing bodyparts but would missing one week in five for each bodypart make that much difference, bear in mind they recommend you take a week off every so often (which i have to confess i never do)
