I've kept a training journal for about 3 years now. Its just one of those small but fat ringed notebooks - anything bigger would just be annoying to carry around.
I go in spurts tracking my diet because I eat roughly the same thing every day. When my diet changes then I'll record the changes and leave it at that. I'll be recording more details as I get closer to my comp this summer, adding in all the gory supplement details of course
