Olympic,
I don't know you, and I am not trying to insult you at all, but because someone was claimed to be tested, or even actually tested, and even if I supervised the test personally, doesn't mean a damn thing.
Think about this one for a second. Anadrol is an extremely anabolic, insanely powerful steroid. It has a half life of 12 hours per pill. It becomes toxic to most users if they use it over 3 or 4 weeks, but many report 50 to 100 lb lift increases, and 20 to 30 lb bodyweight increases in that short amount of time.
Well, that 12 hour half life means that it gets to work really fast, but gets out of the system pretty quick too. Think about it.
Human Growth Hormone is a fat stripper, and strength and mass builder extroidanaire. And there is currently no test out there that can pick it up. A true steroid test costs $1,000.00 I got that info from my brother who is head of the billing department at a hospital. Ratio tests are extremely common cause they are cheap, and they are extremely easy to beat by many methods.
Given this breif little glimpse, I think it should be apparent that even though a person lifts in the pristine USAPL, does not mean that person was or is clean.
Also, Iron Bear was way way in excess of 300 lbs bodyweight when he did that lift. He did a 1.7 times bodyweight bench. That is something you need to take into consideration too. Kenny Patterson, and George Halbert both open with triple bodyweight benches, or higher.
