Is it in Boynton Beach? I'm going to one in Lakeland, I think it was, on the 18th of October. Not to compete, though, just to check it out and support a friend.
Go for it bro. It will be an awesome experience. Even with no powerlifting comp experience, you're a strong motherfucker, and I'm sure you will do very well.

ThanX alot Zero! Ive always wanted to wait until I got real strong, but would definately like to get a feel for competing. So Im thinking Ill do the meet. Unless there are some complications with the price I dont know about yet. 40$ I can afford. which is supposedly the price, any extra fees and Id be screwed haha. ThanX again
I was thinking maybe it was the same meet and I had the date mixed up or something, but I guess not. Ft. Lauderdale is a good distance away -- the one I'm going to is only 30-45 minutes from me.
Anyhow, good luck! I think it will be a great experience for you.

Like PolishHammer said, get some experience. You can't beat the experience of meet day. Anxiety, nerves, etc. It's all a good feeling! Get used to it and go for it!
Wow ThanX guys! Awesome feedback! I think as weak as Ill be Im gonna do it. If anything..for the experience. 40$ is just the entry. Hopefully there wont be any other fees! haha Also its just a bench and deadlift comp. =)
