It is a little complicated.

Sex is a big deal, until you get some. It is a big deal because everyone considers it the ultimate pleasure. Pleasure is erronously related to happiness. But once it becomes obvious that momentary pleasure does not make you "happy", sex is not such a big deal. Your outlook at the situation comes into play.

Then we are confused. Why am i not happy, if i just rammed this sweet ass cheerleader? We are confused because we were sure, sex was going to satisfy, but it didn't. So we go out there, and get some more. Stubborn, and sure if we get the right person, someone hotter, maybe we would be happy.

Nothing happens still. Then the only way to melt this frustation is to brag. Yah i did so many girls. My life is a porno movie. Your peers understand, their outlook on sex is similar. So they encourage.

I have nothing against sex. but, "best sex is natural sex." It is a great self searching tool, not a big deal, or a small deal.

That said, sex will never ever lose its meaning. It will never be ordinary for anyone to have sex, unless it is their spouse, which is why i think marraige is pathetic.

What you suggest, is backward evolution. Where sex has no emotional or spiritual meanings attached to it. It means that we will be like animals. We can have sex and go about our ways.

I can't blame you for your prespective, because all indications do suggest, that sex is becoming more instinctive, more biological. But then again, we are not animals, we are humans. We strive to evolve and become more than mere animals that we used to be.

If you think the current scenerio is bad, then take a look at the past. Greeks, egyptians etc. They used to have orgies every full moon and all that BS. But humans evolved. We become different for good.

To tangent off that arguement, i don't think sex will ever become ordinary. Our kids are going to do better than us.

Good point and good outlook, I just have my doubts with kids and all this technology/media/interenet crap pushing sex on to them. I dont know and I hope you're right but right now the situation is iffy if you ask me to the point where it's getting kinda gay.
I guess sex with no strings atached isn't a bad thing as long as u know what the hell you're doing, but pushing this on to youngesters can turn it into a bad thing I think.
