What up fellaz... just got a question ..

--- recently i've been getting some shoulder pain on my left side every time i pickk up and put down a bloody free weight.. I stopped working out shoulders for about a week and a half to see if the pain would go away... but it's still there... is there anything i can take before a workout to get rid of it... i feel stupid working out every other muscle and not my shoulders.. any info would be appreciated.. thanx fellaz..

Its not what you'll want to hear, but ill say it anyway.

rest...don't do any upper-body work for a few weeks. You'll only make the injury worse. Once you've decided not to train upper-body for a while, dont be tempted to do any more weights to see if the injury has healed yet. After the few weeks off, build the weight back up again very slightly.

oh yeah..you should do rotator cuff exercises with light weights. Do a search for the exercises on this board.

thanx for the info... that's gonna be hard to do... but i'm going to take your advice and stop working out upper body for about 2 weeks... i don't know what i'm going to be doing with myself for those 2 weeks..
