Well, I do have a daughter, and let me tell you bro... those are some good words you screamed up there. My daughter's mom had just turned 18 when she had our daughter. Sure, her dad hated me and I was to blame, but... was she old enough, and educated enough to know how much her life could/would change as a result of sex? Her parent's should have been there more for her, and talked openly about these things. Otherwise, like in our case, it was too late by the time they found out.

To answer your first question tho, IMO the right age is whenever you feel like you are ready to have sex...AND you are financially and emotionally capable of raising a kid. I think anyone older than...16...should be able to have all the sex they want in the world, but they better be prepared if an accidents happens.

They should just teach kids how to masturbate in schools.

I personally feel most people can handle sex at 17. Earlier is a toss-up since people develop at different speeds. If you're speaking responsibility--I think that entirely is up to the person's upbringings. I've been having sex since I was very young and I have had only 1 scary moment but that was an accident. I know the precautions and the risks. When/If I have a child, it's going to be planned, not a surprise which is the way it should be.
