Hope the knee feels better Sass! :rose:

Thx hun - its better today -- probably good to give it a day off....! Also helps if I don't like 'pre-anticipate' pain and just walk like a normal person instead of a gimp. :)

Gonna hit the gym today and see how it goes. I hate that I have 30 stairs in my house to get from the basement to my bedroom tho... long slow climb ... LOL!

Think positive...You could survive a flood with those 30 steps!!!

Did I get you to smile???

My hammies are sore and heavy...need advice..Shadow is nowhere to be seen...LOL..Kinda like when Peter Pan lost His shadow...

I did HITT monday morning climbing stairs at park...
1 set was 1 step at a time, second set 2 steps...third set 3 steps...and had recovery jog of maybe 10 minutes at the most...due to lack of oxygen...LOL...

Tuesday I worked on legs, as warmup ATF squats, lunges, deads, and calves.

Yesteday did run 5K, and today I woke up with the feeling my legs are two bronze pillars...IF THEY LOOKED THE WAY I FEEL THEM...
OH MAN I'd be a competition winner...LOL....

So I said well recovery jog...JA! My heart rate was at 85%...

So....now what???Do move up the HITT to Friday?

I am so hungry I am not making any sense...

Sweetie you always make me smile! The thing about the stairs is that my computer is in my basement, I've disconnected by landline phones & only use my cell phone, but the reception is terrible in the basement. So I've got a bunch of stuff up for sale in the newspaper, talkign to my realtor, talking to these recruiter people -- every call I get I have to go back upstairs to avoid having the call drop. Then since I have to go up the stairs slowly because of my knee, the people keep going "I'll call you back later" -- I'm like NOOOOOO JUST GIVE ME A MINUTE... PLEASE JUST A MINUTE!!!!!"

LOL.

If your legs are really tired then you can do a recovery day - just train upper body or somethign, give your legs a recovery day. Just because cardio isn't "leg day" its still hitting your legs and not necessarily giving that muscle group sufficient recovery time.
